These people are awesome. My dad and son have also had several of their vehicles serviced here, and they do a fantastic job. I originally went here last year after calling 6 places to try and price a new water pump, and the prices were just impossible around Christmas. I even looked into selling my car because I just couldn't do it. We decided to check one more place because they came highly recommended by H&H next door, and I'm so glad we did. They did great work at such a good price, I mean they really took care of us. That was the first time we used Goode's, and now we can't imagine taking our cars anywhere else. I really appreciate everything they have done for us, such a great group of people. 👍

Had a great experience at Goode's. I bought this 2013 Chevy Sonic in great condition. Jesse worked with me on pricing and gave me a great deal, no hassle or lengthy haggling. Even when the car had a thermostat issue 4 days after I bought it Goode's replaced the whole thermostat no issue or pushback of any kind. They also told me to come back if the car needed anything else. I've never given a car dealer 5 stars before, since there's almost always something they put you in a bad spot with, but Goode's earned it. Fair business run by honest people.

Fair, honest techs that stand completely by their work. If you are in need of car repair this is the only place to go in Newport News Va. to go.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! The mechanics played me and waited until what they portrayed as a simple issue into a $3k repair. I was told for several months that my thermometer in my car was broke, so I trusted the mechanic to fix it but after 3 trips back they finally tell me that my head gasket is bad. They waited until my head gasket got severely damaged to tell me that it was the real issue. If these were real, properly educated mechanics, they would have discovered this earlier so that I can come up with the money to fix it. They charged me $874 to simply inspect the gasket and said the total repair would be $3.4k. Save yourself the frustration I’ve faced and choose a different shop.

Don’t go here, my ac got fixed by them, came & got my vehicle, the battery light was on. I left & my car cut off. I changed the battery thinking my battery could have been bad but found out it was the alternator. The guy that worked on my ac at Goode’s auto told me my alternator was charging fine but he lied. I had to get my alternator replaced. Take a man with you if you decide to go here atleast!!!!! Or just go to the car dealership. Never again will I go here !!! Then they also add a 25$ fee on if you pay with a debit card. They sit in the office trying to ask questions like.., where you work at, acting like they being nice but trying to calculate your pockets to add on fees.
