I cannot recommend Mark and his team at Village Car Company enough for buying a fantastic and fair priced used car. I was recently in an accident and had a short-time frame to find a new car and I did a deep dive into researching car dealerships and what car I was looking for and was willing to go out of state for the quality and price I was looking for. I looked at Vermont forums on reddit and Front Porch Forum and I was looking for the most fair, decent, low-stress and quality car dealership. Village Car Company was always at the top of the list for Vermont dealerships. I have had my fair share of car buying trauma and was very anxious about the whole process but Mark found me exactly what I was looking for and the price was very fair. I took the car to be looked at by my mechanic before purchasing and they confirmed the quality and Mark was more than happy to provide the Car Fax report. I have a lot of anxiety making a big purchase like a car and Mark was very grounding and didn't push me into buying anything I didn't want or tried to up-sell. Usually I would rather have my teeth pulled with pliers but my husband and I found the process was painless and dare I say almost enjoyable. Mark even reached out to me later after the purchase to let me know that the previous owner had dropped off almost a new set of tires and tied it into the already sweet deal. The car is currently driving like a dream. If there is ever anytime when my husband or I are looking for a car we will go through Mark at Village Car Company and I would recommend it to anyone in the market to buy a quality used car at a fair price.

Awesome service! Mark is so nice! He has done work on my car for multiple years and he always goes above and beyond my expectations to make sure my car is repaired properly and safely. He recently had to replace a couple parts and when my car started acting up the next day, he promptly took care of it and I couldn’t be happier with his service! He never tries to “take advantage” or charge me more because of my lack of knowledge relating to cars.

Can't speak more highly about our experience here with Mark. We had some trepidation about buying from a used car place for the first time but were told Mark was honest and trustworthy. Sure enough, we felt no pressure, could tell her was being honest and he was super friendly and chill. The cars he had were great and at the mention of a couple of problems we saw with the car we wanted he offered to fix before the sale. Can't go wrong here.

Excellent Experience. Mark gave us a great deal on our daughters first car. He also immediately replaced a windshield that we didn't even notice was broken (he knew and it was part of the sales agreement). Super nice guy, great prices, great cars....we'll definitely be back!

So I’ve bought numerous cars for my 3 girls and myself over the years from Mark . It’s where my car gets serviced and I would never go anywhere else . All experiences couldn’t have been better . If you have any doubts about Marks kindness and integrity here’s a story . When my middle daughter was 16 she was ready for a car . She worked at the bakery after school and had her eye in one of Marks cars . She had saved a little and I told her I’d match her savings but she still had substantially less than the purchase price. After a little negotiation Mark signed over the car and agreed to take a weekly payment from her for I think 6 weeks or so . She dutifully walked over every week with her bakery paycheck until the balance was paid . He is not in the loan business and it may have been the only time he’s ever done that but it speaks to his kindness and understanding .... it was a great car.... my youngest is driving a car he sold her 2 years ago hasn’t had a single issue...
