I bought a used RAV4 from Marty's and had a great experience thanks to Paul. He was very communicative and helpful. The car is in fantastic shape for an older car. I took it to my local (very rural) mechanic and he said he was very impressed with its condition given its age. Marty's crew care about their customers, not just about making a buck! I will definitely shop with them again next time I need a used vehicle.
Paul and Marty were great! Very smooth experience and very happy with the purchase! Car has a salvage title and they were very transparent with photos of the damage before fixed and the carfax report, I’ll buy from them again ! Highly recommend!
My second happy purchase from Marty's. My experience was the same as the first time. Very low pressure, no harassment from the salesman until I was ready to go in and talk. They were very upfront about the car being a salvage, which I knew before going in, and they provided pictures of the damage and what was done to repair without me needing to ask. The car did have some quirks after purchase which Marty and Norm acknowledged and quickly addressed with no pushback. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone. Very friendly and helpful
Well it's been 4 years since I bought my 2016 Honda Fit there. I didn't realize they dealt in mostly salvage vehicles but they told me straight away when I walked in. I was given a report and photos of the vehicle damage right off the bat. I decided to take a chance. They wouldn't budge on the price and my feeling is when the website lists the retail price it would be for a similar vehicle without a rebuilt title. Please know you could be opening yourself up for unknown future mechanical problems for example I should have notice the uneven tire wear on my vehicle indicating a bent axle. They did offer to repair some upholstery damage upon my request. I asked the vehicle have a full gas tank when I picked it up, it did not. Overall, rebuilt titles are not for me but the car is still on the road and has been decent. If you've got more mechanical knowledge it could put you in a position to save some money. I had no problem passing a New Hampshire safety inspection when registering the car in my state for the first time. Just understand that a rebuilt title will the devalue the vehicle for a resale in a major way. Good luck out there!
I had taken a vehicle of theirs to my mechanic and he found what might be a serious issue. Paul (the dealer) agreed to this and other repairs, and so I indicated I would like to purchase it. I asked if a deposit was needed, he said a preapproval was fine enough. I called once more to check on progress and status and was told everything was moving forward but no timeline yet. I call two days after that and he is literally selling the car to someone at that moment. He lies to me and says he never agreed to the repairs, that he had to ask his boss and his boss said no, and so it goes. Up until this point it had already been a trend of poor communication so maybe I should have known. But to the kid and his mom who bought a 2022 Ford Bronco yesterday, please get your transfer case checked out. That could be a very expensive fix (which I’m guessing Paul probably didn’t tell you about.) If you can get a car from literally anywhere else, do it. These guys are slimy.
