My husband and I visited your dealership to purchase a vehicle for our son after first calling the listed business number and speaking with Luis at your support center. During that call, Luis confirmed the vehicle was in stock, provided the cash price, stated that the manager would be able to negotiate, and informed us that an appointment had been set with the manager. Based on that information, we made the trip to the dealership expecting a professional and customer-focused experience. Unfortunately, that was not what we received. Upon arrival, we were assigned to an inexperienced salesperson. When I requested to test drive the vehicle, I was initially told that a credit application had to be completed first, even though we were making a cash purchase. Another employee later corrected that statement and advised that no application was necessary. After test driving the vehicle and deciding we wanted to move forward with the purchase, we were presented with the total price including tax, title, and license fees. I made a reasonable counteroffer requesting the dealership cover the tax, title, and license costs. Throughout the process, the salesperson continuously communicated with the manager through instant messages despite the manager being only a door away. I then personally requested to speak with the manager. I was told he was assisting another customer, which I understood and was willing to wait for. However, even after that customer left, the manager still refused to come speak with us directly. That level of disregard was extremely disappointing. Regardless of whether a deal can be made, customers deserve respect, communication, and professionalism. Our money spends the same as anyone else’s, and during difficult economic times, customer service matters more than ever. The least the manager could have done was come out, introduce himself, and explain why the dealership could not accommodate the negotiation request. Instead, we were ignored entirely, which made us feel undervalued as customers. A dealership should prioritize customer relationships and professionalism. Vehicles are meant to be sold, and management should understand that respectful communication goes a long way, even when negotiations do not end in an agreement. Based on this experience, your dealership appears disconnected from basic customer service principles and effective management practices.
