The process was so fast and streamlined no hassle , very transparent and just straightforward on what I needed to do and what they would do to fulfill the purchased in a timely manner, I drove from New Orleans to forthworth, Texas and everything was ready for me! Writing ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) My wife and I purchased a 2014 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid from DFW Auto Sales on April 17, 2026. Overall, we are very pleased with the vehicle itself. There have been a few minor items that I have addressed since the purchase, but they have been relatively negligible and are to be expected with a pre-owned vehicle of this age. The dealership itself was clean, organized, and professional. The sales staff and finance personnel were polite and easy to work with throughout the buying process, and initially I was very pleased with our experience. Unfortunately, several issues have overshadowed what would otherwise have been a positive transaction. The dealership made three specific commitments during the sale. First, I was assured that the payoff on my traded-in 2017 Ford F-250 would be handled promptly. Second, I was told I would be driving away in a vehicle with enough fuel to comfortably get home. Third, I was led to believe that, as part of the dealership's inspection process, the vehicle would not immediately require routine maintenance such as an oil change. As part of the deal, I traded in my 2017 Ford F-250. On April 17th, I was assured by the finance department that the payoff on the truck would be processed the following Monday. Today is June 4, 2026, and 48 days later the truck still has not been paid off. During that time, I have exchanged multiple emails and messages with the finance department seeking updates and resolution. Meanwhile, I continue to receive regular collection calls from GM Financial regarding a vehicle that has been in the dealership's possession since the date of trade. I understand that delays can occur, but nearly seven weeks without completing a trade-in payoff is unacceptable and has created unnecessary stress and inconvenience. In addition, the Porsche was essentially on empty when we purchased it. The finance department assured me that when returned (I had to go home and pick up My checkbook) the vehicle would be filled up. That never happened. Immediately after leaving the dealership, I had to stop for fuel and put $97 worth of(premium) gas into the vehicle myself. Another concern arose just one week after purchase when the vehicle indicated that an oil change was overdue, despite having supposedly passed the dealership's inspection process. Fortunately, I found a Porsche-authorized mechanic only a mile and a half from my home. Even so, the routine maintenance still cost me $160 out of pocket. While that was significantly less than the approximately $400 I would have paid at a Porsche dealership, it remains a basic maintenance item that should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold. The reason this review is three stars instead of five is not because of the vehicle itself or the sales experience, but because the dealership failed to follow through on several commitments that were important parts of the transaction. If and when these matters are resolved, I will gladly update my review to reflect the outcome. I hope DFW Auto Sales follows through on its commitments and demonstrates the level of customer service that was promised during the sale.
