My experience as an out of state buyer with Sioux Empire Automotive and Josh were superb! I was looking for a rare spec 2018 Passat GT, and I discovered the exact one I wanted on their website; low miles, clean title, one owner, etc. only issue is that I live 1,600+ miles away in Arizona and wasn’t sure how that would work, so I called them just to ask a few questions to see if it was even possible to buy out of state. They ended up having me do a $500 deposit and held the car for 3 weeks for me to take time off work and fly out there. They allowed me to drive it first before I paid for it and drove off. It took less than 15 minutes to sign and drive. They answered all my questions and when I arrived the car was already parked out front running, waiting for me. They even gave me a full tank of fuel. A+ Overall a 10 of 10 experience, and don’t let being out of state stop you from their amazing inventory. Thanks Josh and Sioux Empire Automotive! If you do buy from out of state, drive the car back, so much cheaper than shipping it back.

Best car dealership experience I've ever had! Hunter was able to get exactly what I was looking for, and Weston really went the extra mile, pulled some strings, and got me in a car I never thought I'd call my own. They really care about their customers and will do whatever it takes to give you the best possible experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly, whether they were directly involved with me or not. 10/10 recommend and I will definitely be going through them for future vehicle purchases!

I purchased a vehicle from this place December 2025. On initial test drive heater wasn't working correctly, so was told would have service area fix it. A few days later was told it was good to go. I bought the vehicle and while driving home noticed the heater still not working correctly. So was told to bring it back. Service department then replaced the heater core. Heater seems to work better, but still not great. A day after picking the vehicle up, the traction control light came on. Took it back, was told was fixed. Few days later it came on again. Was told to drive it and see if it goes back off, which it did, but then came back a day or 2 later. The brake light on the dash appears randomly with the traction control as well. Now the vehicle has a check engine light on. I had purchased the warranty plan that I was told covers everything, and no deductible or anything. So I dropped the vehicle off to their service dept. Now they tell me its a $199 diagnostic fee that is not part of the warranty. I asked when was purchasing the warranty if there was any cost to me for warranty work and was told with this plan everything was covered. The traction controll was an issue that they have worked on since I bought it, it should have been diagnosed already! The other issues I have, which one is my fault for not looking at the vehicle in daylight, is that they touched up the taillight covers with black paint, but didnt take them off the vehicle to do so and got black paint on the body all around the taillights . The other issue is when I went to change the oil, the drain plug was rounded off and so tight I had a hell of a time getting it out. I am just waiting to see what other suprises come up! The best part of this whole experience was working with Josh, the salesman, but that is his job. He was very easy to work with and very helpful. I would not recommend buying a vehicle here as there service department obviously does not check the vehicles over like they say before putting them on the lot! I understand "as is" no warranty as that is why I purchased the extended warranty, but these issues began day one driving it home!
