Granite Nissan

I had spent the better part of a month deciding what car I wanted. I knew what I wanted and headed to Rapid. I got to work with John Costello. He listened to the to the various things I was looking for and had a couple options to look at. At no time did I feel like I was being pushed in any direction. I found the best car for me. He has called to make sure things are still working well. It has been a couple weeks now and I couldn’t be happier.

While traveling in SD, I had some issues with my car. I had a crash light come on, on my dash and my cruise control would not engage. I called Granite Nissan in Rapid City and spoke to Tyler Ashley, nissan service advisor. He was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. We decided I would stop by the dealership on my way home so the situation could be assessed. He looked things over and also got an opinion from a mechanic. It was determined that the sensor unit and bracket was damaged do to having an encounter with a bird. He efficiently got me an estimate for repairs before I left the building. Thank you Tyler for your assistance in this matter, for your amazing customer service and spectacular personality.👌🏻The world need more people like you!!

I reached out to a few dealerships and was met with vehicles that i wasn't looking for. Brent the car guy came to mind so sent a msg. He was more than willing to go the length to help me get into what needed. We went over a few options and he brought a few SUVs and sedans AWD like I asked. We left in a 2021 Toyota Camry XLE hybrid. There was no pressure and he made the purchase up to me with my terms in mind. We are happy with the car so far and will be coming back in the future.

Absolutely fantastic group of people to work with! From start to finish. Kurt, Johnathan, and Levi made the buying process for our new car stress free. Before I post this, I want to emphasize this has nothing to do with the salesman that helped me. I had a very disappointing experience with Granite Automotive’s service department. My back passenger tire had a slow leak, so I brought it in to have it inspected. I was told they couldn’t find the source of the leak. Since the issue continued, I took the vehicle to Corey’s Point S for a second opinion. They quickly found that the tire already had a patch in it. This was surprising because the vehicle had only 14 miles on it when I purchased it less than two months ago, and this information was never disclosed to me. It’s frustrating to be told no issue could be found when another shop identified the problem right away. I expected better communication, a more thorough inspection, and transparency about the condition of the vehicle. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning the quality of service and attention to detail. I feel as though they should be giving me a different tire so I don’t have to deal with this in the future. Not only that, I feel my time and money wasted (not working) should be compensated. Make it right Granite.
