Used cheaper cars

Alright about time someone with a semi-professional opinion weigh in. How many folks have ever bought a new car? Probably all of you. At one point that vehicle was brand new with single digit miles. It had a WARRANTY, because the manufacturer wasn’t even sure it was 100% road worthy! They knew something was going to break, they didn’t know what or when but they knew something was going to break because it is a machine! We as humans aren’t machines and we break too, the difference as speaking humans we can vocalize our woes. Sometimes vehicles break without warning. It is what it is... in fact, they have a term whenever they sell you the vehicle it’s called AS IS. That means as you see it cosmetically, mechanically, and so on nothing more. You the buyer take on the responsibility of that vehicle for fluids, wipers, rotors, tires, etc. If you are buying a vehicle without driving it, shame on you. If you don’t know about a vehicle mechanically, bring a mechanic or someone mechanically inclined or make an appointment with a shop to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic of your choosing. If that is too much trouble, look it up on Google, your cell in your pocket is used for more than Snapchat. Next point, ever hear the old adage, “you get what you pay for?” If not its self explanatory. I challenge anyone to go to any dealership in Tulsa and find a used vehicle for $1,000 that is like a new car that isn’t a salvage or flood car. Chances are there are cosmetic flaws, small mechanical issues, older body styles, higher mileages, and so on. But if you want a brand new car don’t go to the used lot with $1,000 and expect a brand new or like new vehicle. Those $1,000 vehicles are there and exist for people with fixed incomes, people who just need to go to work and home. It beats walking! People if your vehicle for some reason overheats, don’t drive it! Fix it. Water is not the same as coolant, it evaporates and boils at a lower temperature versus anti-freeze/coolant. This is how you crack a block, head, and/or blow a head gasket, how is that the guy or gals fault that sold it to you? Did they force you at gun point to drive your vehicle hot? Did they force you with a knife to your neck to neglect that oil change for several thousand miles? If they did this, why did you buy a vehicle from them? People, change your oil, right after you buy a used vehicle, for your peace of mind knowing when it was last changed and when it should be next changed, this is common sense. A check engine light or service engine light isn’t a end all be all. Also don’t believe everything they print out at the parts store, they are not a mechanic shop, their job is to sell parts at a huge markup. Part source online, e-bay, Rock Auto, Amazon, Detroit axel, etc, they’re not a ugly monster that is going to steal your money, they use pay-pal, which is super safe. If you have made it to this point and are still unsure of how to buy a used car, parts, maintenance, you either need to get an adult involved, or just consider walking. Next item how many of y’all been to an auto auction in the last few years? Probably not a lot of y’all. Go to your closest auction house and get a guest badge watch the prices and condition of the used vehicles. They are appallingly high. The used auto industry prices have jumped way up. It started before cash for clunkers and when that rolled out the now fantasy world of $500 vehicles that are like new evaporated. If you want to find a unicorn vehicle go on Craig’s list and have fun with that or read the Sunday paper. Those are the only places you are going to find super cheap vehicles and I can’t emphasize the cheap aspect enough 😉. Once you give the man or woman cash, it’s done, no going on Google to tell a false narrative about how you drove a vehicle intentionally that was over-heating and are surprised that it broke. Now maybe if I trash talk enough I might get my way... parents sound familiar 😤😭? Yes, it’s a temper tantrum. In closing do your home work and accept responsibility.

Everyone was so nice and treated us with the utmost respect. I appreciate everything that they did for us that day. The car we got was and still is a great car. It runs really good and it looks really nice. Thank you for your time and for working with us.

Just don't trust them when they will fix a problem. I bought a mazda 6 and it was shaking quite a bit when I tested it. They said that it was just some spark plug problem and said they can fixed it. Since I was very much in need of a car, I trusted them and bought it. It was okay at the beginning but the problem immediately came back after a week I bought it. I went for mechanic and dealer and they both mentioned problem with the cat and it will cost couple thousands dollars to fix. The car was 3k or so and so it made no sense fixing it. A only good thing is that the car is still running after a year. Though it comes with extremely bad smell and still shaking violently.

Sold my son in law a bmw that had a bad cylinder then days later had to take it to a mechanic for the fuel injector. The wires under the hood were fully exposed and not under a traditional bmw cover. He now has a blown motor and still has paper tags on it so all of the money is down the drain before he could even put a plate on it. Do not buy from here
