I recently bought a Toyota Highlander from Cardinal Auto Sales, and the experience was fantastic! The team, including Tony, was incredibly helpful and down-to-earth throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly, so all I have to do now is wait for my tax bill in the mail. What I appreciated most was their transparency—they explained everything about the car I was purchasing and walked me through how taxes and registration work. I put down $3500 on a 2018 Infiniti QX60 on 3/28/26. By 4/14 it started smoking out of the tailpipe while sitting still at a light. On 7/15 I took it to a Nissan dealership to get diagnosed and it came up that it was built up sludge in the motor due to it not being taken care of by the previous owner and that it needed $3800 worth of maintenance that the warranty WILL NOT cover. I’ve gotten an oil change and engine flush and it’s still smoking. I am at my wits end and highly pissed that I purchased something like this thinking that I was getting a good deal. I highly wouldn’t recommend!!!

I recently purchased a 2021 Ford Transit from Cardinal Auto Sales Inc in Raleigh with 112,500 miles. I was told by the salesman, Jhonny, that the vehicle had been fully inspected and was in good condition coming from their shop. Less than a month later and after putting under 1,000 miles on it, the transmission completely failed. This is extremely disappointing and feels misleading. I trusted their word about the condition of the vehicle, and that clearly wasn’t the case. Buying a vehicle should come with a basic level of honesty and transparency, and that was not my experience here. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious and have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing from this dealership.

Had such an unfortunate experience. I found a truck online, then spoke with a sales rep. Confirmed they would take my SUV on trade. Drove 4.5 hours from Asheville to be told they are not interested in the SUV. They had the truck I wanted at a fair price but unfortunately they were not interested in making a deal that involved my SUV. Upset I wasted the day driving because I was lied too over the phone.

Honestly worst experience ever. Buying the car itself was simple & fast, only good thing about it. Took the car to a mechanic & it had an oil leak, bad high pressure fuel pump. Everytime I called or texted either hung up on or left on read. Most unprofessional people, I went to finally make them fix the car & first thing they said was "you bought a used car it is what it is" which I understood, only problem was these issues should've been something should've been brought up to me when they knowingly knew it. I asked for an update they said it was being worked on so I patiently waited. after almost a month of asking when it'll possibly be ready he just said "soon" & that they're waiting on an OEM part. I got the courage to go & see for myself if the car had even moved from its parking spot which it hadn't, it was just collecting dust so I simply asked for my keys back got into the car & they left trash in my car just laying there. My car untouched for about a month after they said it was being worked on, out of the things I told them that needed to be fixed none of them were fixed. Unprofessional & straight up liars. Only reason they have good reviews is because they ask to write it down themselves🤣 Update: Based on their reply it looks like I hit a nerve😬😬 & proves my point about being liars when they say I was street racing which is absurd. Yes it's my first time buying a car but not my first time having a car, yet knowing more about them then you do & knowing simple professionalism is the main thing here simply couldve told me the truth instead of lying straight to my face, and saying no one else approved me which they clearly don't know what they're talking about but I'm the immature one when they're lying on my name. I dropped off my car because y'all said y'all were going to take care of it, said y'all were going to inspect it & see what was wrong which y'all probably didn't even do. Literally most of the reviews on you guys say that y'all sell cars that have issues & completely ignore your own customers when trying to find a solution your whole reputation is this. Also Johnny O literally took my phone & asked to write down a review most of the "good" reviews are the same made by you but simply just continuing to lie.
