Paul Herman Motor Cars

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a used car to come to Paul Herman. Was looking for my first used car about a year ago, went to multiple other sellers in the area with no luck. From the start Paul was very laid back, and had no issue with us looking underneath the cars to see the condition of the frame. No high pressure environment, he met us where we were and left us to look around and see for ourselves the condition of the cars. He was very easy to work with throughout the whole process, and the pricing of the car I ended up buying was very fair. A year later, the car just passed inspection with no major repairs. Since buying, I topped up the coolant, changed the wipers, filled up the tires a few times, and took it for an oil change - that's it, for the whole year. Incredibly happy I found Paul Herman and ended up buying from there!

I bought a 2012 c300 4matic sport at 60k miles about 2 years ago, ever since than it has been nothing but problems. First, I had brought the car back not even a week after owning it for a secondary air pump problem. This repair was covered by Paul's 1000 mile and 3 month warranty, the brake rotors were also very warped when i bought it like someone had joy ridden in it before giving it to me . It's only been downhill since. The AC compressor is no longer working, the sunroof seals got clogged and caused water damage to the modules and wires underneath the carpet. It was so bad that there was a inch of water underneath the driver seat and the car would not shut off and had to be towed. This is only scratching the surface of the problems ive encountered buying this car from Paul. And now finally the same problem with the secondary air pump has came back and now Im questioning his work. Please be very weary and cautious when buying from Paul you will be stuck with huge repair bills 👎👎👎. Would never recommend again.

I went to the shop thinking that the car was $9,900, which is what was said on the website and during my first visit. The car was 10,000 miles more than what was advertised on the website (first red flag), but I shrugged it off. The husband said that the car would cost approximately $10,200 in total with tax and trade. Though I wanted to trade my car for a higher price, the deal was reasonable, and I was happy. One week went by, and I forgot the exact price. I went back to the dealership to check out the car again with the intent to buy it, as it was a good price. We went to the negotiating table, and the wife said the car would cost $11,113. Something in my mind told me it was wrong, but I agreed as I had forgotten the original price and went back home, planning to buy the car the next day. (For clarification, I did not purchase the car). After coming home, I realized that the price of the car was $9,900 when I checked the website. I mentioned this in a message to the wife, as it could have been an honest mistake. After I messaged her, I had a feeling that she saw the message, so I looked back at the website to see if there was any change to the price. But before I refreshed the page (as I had the tab of the website still open), I wanted to screen-record this because I had a feeling that there might be something funny going on. I say this because all the cars I looked at were approximately 10,000 miles more than what's written on the website, as previously mentioned. I screen-recorded and refreshed, and the price increased by $1,000! I sent the recording to the wife, and she called back saying that the shop has many websites and would honor the original estimate ($10,200). The wife claimed that she does not manage the website and that it was not her that increased the price, but acknowledged that the price "coincidentally" increased right after I sent her the message! Can you believe it?! A "coincidence"! What other "coincidences" might have been revealed after I handed over our hard-earned money?! Main Point: They tried to upsell me by $1,000 by gaslighting me into believing the price of the car "coincidentally" increased after I highlighted the discrepancy. Then they tried to revert to the original price only after they were caught, which by then lost my trust! It broke my heart how they tried to take advantage of me! I trusted them! Here's the timeline from my evidence: 6:42 PM: Screenshots of my browser history prove I did a new search and confirm the price was $9,900 (before I messaged the wife). 6:49 PM: A screen recording (taken after I messaged the wife) shows the price had been changed.

Don’t purchase any vehicles from them , they sell you bad cars. I had my car for one yr on 2/28/26 took the car for inspection a lot of stuff needed to be fixed for inspection total was 3,071.00. I will never patronize them again!!!
