Omg most amazing experience ever! I came in for a minor mechanical issue the whole team at the counter jumped in to aide me and get me back on the road! Michelle was my service advisor and quickly got Stephen the mechanic to go out to my truck so I could explain the situation! He is the best especially since I’m a woman and driving men always seem to question our intelligence when it comes to truck problems he listened, acknowledged and came up with a game plan to get me back on the road! And Kristina was also so attentive to me while I waited in the customer lounge even came to turn on Tv for me and see if I was ok! Again thank you International border for all the help and dedication to help us drivers!
Really helpful staff, walked in was asked if I needed help. I said no was going to browse around first. after enjoying their nicely set up store I asked for help and they were very quick to help me out. I got what I needed and more. The selection of Traxxas gear was amazing!. I will be back for more thanks a lot!
We couldn't be happier with the service we received with Kristina and TJ. We were having a rough time getting service through the dealer and the team at Border International really came through for us in when time was very short. We couldn't thank them enough and they have earned our business for good.
Called and stopped at many places before finally getting great service and communication with Boader International. Michael White communicated throughout the repair on the truck. Nice waiting area I will definitely be sending my trucks there when in the area!! Thanks so much for the help!!
Their location is an hour away from me. I made an appointment for alignment for my small RV a week ago, and yesterday woke up super early to drive there and show up at 8:10am only to find out I am not in the system. The guy at the desk says they are all backed up and might find time and maybe even could not fit me in. But I said I had an appointment I called a week ago and made appointment and the person on the phone said they can do it . I want some explanation of why it is driving funny and vering side to side because in the small town i'm in they do not have good equipment. So I ask again if their person is professional because I want to know if it is worth my time waiting because I am in conversations of RV forums and facebook with other people with the same RV and also chevy g30 vans who have a lot of experience. I am told by a few people who say these vans are hard to align but they have success after a few tries and the truck places are better with these older Chevy vans. He then says , well let me speak to the tech and see if he can fit you in. He comes back and he then says the tech and they can squeeze me in and probably next in line. An hour and a half goes by they call me back to the office to speak to the tech Thomas. He says I have done this 20 years and yes I will look at it and have the skills. But before looking at at all he said that sometimes the problem is the rear and a lot of people who have trouble do not know why their vans do not work and usually it is the rear. They take the van to look at it. He then comes back to me with a paper saying your rear diff is bent and needs replacing so he cannot do anything . They charge me for an inspection. Well last night it did not sit well with me and I really though through all the years of owning this van and how it drove in the past. So i started to look in my file cabinet at the old records. I just re looked at the printout from the other places I went to and the rear is not toed far out of alignment in those printouts. I think thomas' figures are all screwy. I call back the other shop that did in el paso in December before to ask again what they had for my van on their computer as well. And they say they can re-adjust the front more and get it aligned and usually they can balance the front to compensate for any slight misalignment in the rear and that my rear is not bent. They say in one of their chain locations is one guy who does the best job for these old vans. So I am confident I can get this van aligned now and it was a waist of time going to Border International. I will be going to another place next week. But the main thing is now research the other alignment readings from other place on my van the difference in numbers of over a full 1 degree of toe between what Thomas printed out and what the other shop has on record is really large. and I misplaced other past print outs and will be looking through all my records as I got different parts put on and a few alignments within the last year and did not drive much. So the rear is no way being bent further out . At this point the only explanation i see of difference in numbers from Borders is they did not want to work on my van, and the original first thing the front desk person said, is they do not have time and room for it so they just did this quick inspection and made up numbers to get me out of the door. And in the process made me worry so much that all my time and energy in my van was down the tubes if the rear diff is way out of alignment. I am scheduling with another place truck shop in Albuquerque and the proof I think will be in the pudding. If my van can be aligned. And talking to people on the phone they think it can be done. So I think Thomas and the guy at the desk well not honest because they did not say they did not have time really. I really felt Thomas was being very nice to me but at the same time also felt I should have left right away when they did not have me on the schedule. I should have just left without them doing anything and now out $65 for the time waisted.
