My experience at Concours Auto is great. Seeing so many consumers being turned down or given a bad deal in the past get approved. This is truly the most rewarding part ever. The cars are very nice and reliable. Im happy with new management and will continue to serve my purpose and assist where assistance is needed. Concours Auto Sales ROCK!!!
We purchased an 07 4dr wrangler from Abby back in June of 2015. After some confusion on my end in getting her the proper documentation for my financials, we were able to get financing through them. My credit is not good by any stretch of the imagination, and yes, we put money down on our car, but that was fully expected and made clear at the beginning of the process to help approve the loan. When we bought the vehicle we were made aware that it needed an egg valve replaced and since they hadn't had it on there lot but 24 hours, since Abby was looking for this vehicle for me, they made an appointment for us to bring it back and they would fix it. After the vehicle purchase and initial repair, mind you we bought this vehicle AS IS, we left on vaction and were gone for 10 days out of the country. When we returned we found the egr repair did not fix the check engine light. I called and Abby had us bring it in. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. They did some work to it. Thought they got it fixed and sent it on its way. I then was gone for work for 2 weeks. Came home to find the egr vable code still on in the jeep. Called Abby again, she had us bring it back, and replaced the whole EGR valve with an OEM valve. While at there Shop this time they found a water leak at the water pump, and replaced the water pump AT NO CHARGE! I cannot say enough nice things about Abby and how she is as a person. You don't find many people with her values anymore. I will definitely be back to buy from her!
After walking onto the lot window shopping I was impressed with what transpired. My salesman Ryan listened to my concerns and answered my questions without pressuring me into quick decision on a great used car. He allowed me to take my time and helped me make the best selection that suited my needs. I felt that he was truthful and I enjoyed working with him. I also felt that concours was very professional, clean, and trustworthy. And at the time of purchase I had really only been looking around. Patrick from St. Louis
My son and I were interested in purchasing his first car from Concours Auto. Ultimately, we purchased the same car with similar millage and more upgrades from a different dealer for $1,000 less. We would've purchased from Concours, except that the tires on the car my son wanted were mismatched and nearly bald. The dealer refused to put new tires on the car or alter the price. A couple of days later, we found a better car (same year, make and model, similar millage) at All Star in Bridgeton. Concours was unhelpful, and our choice to buy elsewhere reflects that.
So, we bought a car from this place and they became our best friend. We were there and talking to them so much we didn't have a choice. All the car needed was some sugar, because the lemon that we bought was definitely a sour deal. First mistake, please if you visit them know a decent amount about cars and what to look for and avoid. My wife went alone and now we are paying for something that still needs $1000.00 in work to be considered a decent car. The car wouldn't stop overheating so we took it to a shop and they told us that the engine had been replaced, the cooling fans were bad, the wiring harness had a short in it because of being pinched while putting the new engine in. That portion was never mention while the sale of this car was underway. So we give them the info that we received from two reputable shops and their solution was to sell us another car...oh hell no, not from their. After them trying to fix it twice and could not fix it, they finally pointed us in the direction of some one that did. Overall bad bad bad pricey experience, luckily WE were able to get it fixed and it's still wasn't worth buying for what they made my wife pay for it. I beg u all to please be careful and do your research. While they are talking do your own checks and if you do buy it take it to a real mechanic in the first 30 days. Work smarter not harder, because you will have to in order to pay off a big piece of fruit.lol buy as you please, but you have been warned.
