My vehicle Lucille, I had for 11 years die on me April 1st. On April 16th God made a way for me to get this vehicle. Trust me, I wasn't trying to get a car note. God knew I needed a vehicle to get back & forth to my doctor's appointment. Also I take my brother, his wife, & my special needs son to their doctor's as well. From my very first contact all the way to arriving at the dealership, everyone I encountered was welcoming, helpful, and incredibly kind. The dealership itself was very clean and well organized, and the staff made the entire experience feel comfortable and exciting rather than overwhelming. He helped guide me through the entire process, answered every question I had, and made sure everything was handled perfectly from beginning to end. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail truly made the experience exceptional. This was by far one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. To the Jackson MS CarMax Team, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire CarMax team, with a very special shoutout to Mr. Eddie Steele. He truly stood by my side and helped me through this entire process, and I am incredibly thankful for his support. This all started when I was not pleased with my first purchase, a Nissan Kicks. I returned the vehicle and was informed by one of the agents that once the vehicle information was updated, I would be able to take another car home as an exchange. I went to the bank and had the information changed, but CarMax ended up sending the check back to Navy Federal Credit Union. Once I was finally able to get the check again, I headed to Mississippi and completed all of my paperwork before arriving at the CarMax location. When I arrived and it was time to get authorization on the check, I was told that I was only approved for $12,000. At that point, I became extremely overwhelmed and started to cry. Eddie reminded me that I was pre-approved through CarMax and encouraged me to explore my options. Because of his patience and reassurance, I was able to purchase the car I truly wanted. Everyone from the store manager to the business office and finance team—was incredibly helpful in assisting me throughout this process. Thank you all so much for your comfort, understanding, knowledge, and patience. I know my situation was not easy, but each of you handled it with such grace. Thank you for recognizing that aside from needing a car, I truly needed compassion, a listening ear, and even a hug during a very stressful time. Ms. Pat was also incredibly inspirational and such a sweetheart. You all were truly my blessing in the middle of a storm, and I could not have asked for a better team. Just got my third car with carmax in a while different state and I want to say the initial experience was bumpy (we started online) but once we came in and met with EMMA she got us on the right track and taken care of. Thank you for being so patient and kind with us. Definitely went above and beyond!

I had a great experience trading in my vehicle! I believe the pricing offered for my old was maybe a tiny bit low but not unfair. The price on the vehicle I chose felt like a steal! I did a lot online, but what could have been stressful went smoothly because of how helpful Eddie Steel was! When recommending this location, I would definitely recommend you work with him. He was kind, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facility felt clean, safe, and welcoming. They have been true to their word with managing a couple minor vehicle repairs that we noticed were needed.
