My oldest son just bought a car from these guys. This is a family-owned used car dealership and they're wonderful humans. No hard sell, willing to fix issues prior to buying, and good follow-up after buying.

Our family has bought more than one car from Sparkle Auto Sales in Maplewood. My dad, who was a truck driver, recommended the business years ago. At that time Sparkle helped us pick out a dependable family car. Years later, we needed a SUV for pulling our camper. We were pleased that Steve was able to manipulate the price to make it work for us. After the purchase, there was discovered a problem with the air conditioner in the vehicle. Again, Steve, at Sparkle, welcomed us to bring the car in for him and the team to find the problem and make it right. That's the kind of customer satisfaction and service that Sparkle provides and buyers can expect. You can trust this family owned business who has been a part of the community for many, many years. Four friendly brothers and their dad will greet you and walk with you through the purchase of your next vehicle and your car needs will be in good hands.

I've been buying all my cars from Sparkle for probably the last 25-30 yrs. They have always been very fair, helpful and friendly. In the rare instance where there was an issue with the vehicle, they were right there to help 'make it right'. I can't say enough good things about them!

My journey to find a used car when you never had to before, as a senior. I did my homework took advice from family/friends, and yes CARFAX...I had taken notes what's important to me, cost, physical issues, easy to learn where everything is..Choose various dealers that I saw types of cars that may meet my needs, independent and major, taking notes on experiences and listened to my gut feelings. So this is why I write this, I saw this car on the web site and when I got there, this is a see for your self place. It is a family owned and family run, now for what ever reason the car I choose fit all my needs and my gut said the same. The next day I returned to finalize the deal and surrender my 2000 SUV that had served me well, and like the one I purchased had some cosmetic issue's so did I. I was told if I had any problems I could have their mechanic take a look at it and they would get my plates in about 2 weeks and put them on for me. This place is a gem with a history as far back as the 50's and there is a reason why they have survived and you need to go and see for yourself and be treated by them all with kindness and a get to know why it's called Sparkle.....:)

I bought a 2016 Volvo S60 with 130,000 miles from this dealership about six months ago. The same day I brought it home, it started leaking coolant badly — the repair cost me $1,500. Now, just a few months later, the engine has lost all compression in cylinder 5 and needs a full replacement. Before buying, I was warned that this dealership has a reputation for selling cars that develop serious issues soon after purchase, but I chose to trust the owner. Unfortunately, that trust cost me my car and $9,000. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
