Was appraised online at a price. Was contacted by a person from this place. Answered the exact same question they asked online and was given a price totally different than offered online. Low ball special. Go elsewhere
I tried selling my 2017 Nissan Murano through Luther Buys Cars, and the experience was super frustrating. The online offer they gave me was $6,215 based on the details I provided, including the actual mileage of my car. But when I followed up, the sales rep dropped it to $4,000, saying the offer was based on “average miles” for the year instead of the mileage I had entered. The frustrating part is that their website clearly states the offer is based on “your car’s condition, mileage, the options you’ve selected, and current market conditions.” My screenshot of the offer shows this, so their explanation didn’t make sense and felt really misleading. It’s obvious that the number they initially offer is from KBB’s trade in value and then they backpedal to low ball you using an invalid excuse. When I called them out on it, they were dismissive and quick to end our conversation. Overall, the process felt unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re expecting transparency or honesty.
