If you don't want to wait for the new part to arrive in the mail after you order it because buying it locally is threw the roof in pricing. Chesney's is the place to go, call, inquire for the part you need. Their online inventory ihas the used parts graded so you have options of what you're going to get. Their warranty is more than sufficient if you were to have a problem with the part. 90 days as long as you keep the receipt to show them if you need to bring it back. If it doesn't break in the first week or two, more than likely the part you purchased will outlast their warranty. Probably 25% less than the online price of new and 50% to buy locally. I'm all for supporting the local parts stores but when it comes to a difference of $50's and $100's. I give Chesney's a call instead.
Haven't gone yet, waiting to hear back. But I called and the guy was very polite and was willing to having someone find the vehicle and send pictures of the parts that im looking for before I drove out there.
You're nice and decent and helpful service would definitely recommend to a friend
I called chesney after i hit a deer. I spoke with a gentleman that was super helpful with gather parts, pricing, and was even going to ship the items to me. (which i would pay for freight shipping) i mentioned i would call back when i received the insurance check. I called back and spoke with Dick. Dick was very rude, was not helpful. Would not send me a picture of the hood i was inquiring about. (I'm 5 hours away, and wanted to pick up this coming weekend). Dick stated they never ship items. Said they never take pictures (which the previous representative told me exact freight pricing and was willing to take as many pictures as i wanted which was very helpful) DICK ALSO WAS UPCHARGING PRICING. (the previous rep i spoke with did not mention anything about paying extra if they HAVE to pull the items. I mentioned i was 5 hours away, and the previous rep was oh man, ill help you out no problem.) Dick was not like that, he wanted to charge an additional $25 for every part pulled. Do not speak with Dick. He's very rude, ignorant and not helpful at all. STAY AWAY, OR AT LEAST DON'T SPEAK WITH DICK. ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE.
Horrid pricing, even worse condition of their used parts. Waste of time and patience. Don’t dare ask them move a vehicle in the yard, it’s like asking them to jump on a grenade. I wouldn’t even ask, but they don’t allow a laundry list of tools, preventing me from actually pulling the parts needed without assistance.
