After looking at some other dealerships and getting information from several places, I contacted Geneva Auto Sales LLC for due diligence. Jay picked up and explained their process in comparison. The kicker is, I sent him the vehicle information and asked if it was available at a certain price point. From a text, he took about 10 minutes and texted back stating honestly what he could do. The point is this saved much time, was honest, and allowed the process to move forward. It is good to be able to talk to persons like Jay for a process that can be exhaustive without truthful people. Kudos to him. And happy car buying with Jay for his integrity.

This is the 3rd time we have worked with Geneva Auto Sales LLC. Two purchases and one trade. This dealership is extremely professional and so easy to work with. They are very fair and transparent in both the buying and trade process. Jay was a delight to work with and was knowledgeable, professional, and was very quick to follow up with every question or concern. looking through these reviews, it was our own mistake for not checking them before even visiting “Geneva auto sales LLC” every REAL review is negative and making our own experience much less surprising based on what i’ve been reading, any positive review for this business is clearly fabricated by either friends, family, AI or the on the most rare occasion a genuinely satisfied customer. i visited “Geneva auto sales LLC” with my girlfriend to check out a kia optima she was looking at, the car looked good from the exterior, had minor cosmetic flaws but expected for a used car, we ask to take the car for a test drive which is standard, my first red flag was that he made his associate drive with us (based on our experience with dealerships, we’ve always been to drive the car ourselves) least of our concerns though, we drive the car to autozone to get it scanned, while we’re scanning the car this is where the second red flag kicks in, his associate is talking on the phone frantically with the owner and he’s telling him to tell us to hurry up even though we’ve been gone 10 minutes max. we drive the car back to the dealership and on the way back, the brakes feel worn and definitely will need to be replaced, that is our third red flag. when we arrive back, we tell the guy politely “we need to talk about those brakes, we’ll definitely need new ones or a price discount” the fourth red flag was a big one and the one started to make me really realize what kind of business we were in, the guy says to us “the brakes are new, i just put them on myself and the reason they feel worn is because brakes will do that when you just install and you need to give them around 80 miles to feel normal again” now i’m no mechanic so i gave him the benefit of the doubt but i’m also not stupid so i insisted we take the car to a mechanic for an inspection, he replies with specific locations we should take the car to which conveniently were closed and also by his words “appointment only” we live an hour and a half away so obviously that wasn’t going to work with us, we asked to take the car to firestone, he says “i don’t trust them” 5th red flag that had put a definite idea in my head that this guys a scammer, my girlfriend was very urgent on getting a car though so we asked if we can take it to jiffy lube and he finally agrees and says his associate will take it there, we’ll follow him and if it takes longer then 30 minutes, he’s taking it back and any expense is on us, all his words. SOON as we get to jiffy lube a guy comes out n i explain to him the situation and how we just need a quick inspection of the brakes and he tells me without even checking them fully yet, those brakes are definitely not new! God bless those guys at jiffy lube on 788 Memorial Ave West Springfield MA, without us even asking they lifted the car, took the wheels off and inspected every part of the car not just the brakes, free of charge. long story short, we were going to need new brakes, new calipers and a new filter amongst other things, jiffy lube gave us an estimated repair cost which they deducted off just a VISUAL inspection of the car for $2500+ and after the inspection the owners associate said nothing to us, drove the car off the lot and said and just left us there, as expected haha i’d be pretty embarrassed too. on top of this too, the owner made sure to call jiffy lube and insist that we pay for the inspection, luckily the guys at jiffy lube helped us. the most aggravating part about this was that he knew he was lying to us and still let us inspect the car just so we could spend our money and waste our own time. if you ever consider shopping from “Geneva auto sales LLC” I insist you reconsider, I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last dealership on earth. the guys there are crooks, liars and simply cowards for not keeping it straight with us and conducting good business like any of the thriving businesses nearby, if i could zero stars i would.
