I was initially hesitant to use a car-buying service and pay the fee. However, after reading many positive reviews and considering my situation, it seemed worth the risk. I dislike negotiating, had a bad prior car-buying experience, had limited time to shop, and needed to meet specific requirements related to my wife’s disability. I did thorough research and narrowed down exactly what I wanted—make, model, and trim. Vehicle color was especially important for medical reasons. After speaking with Scott, I felt very comfortable with the process. He explained everything clearly and demonstrated extensive knowledge and resources. Finding the exact vehicle was challenging, as no dealer near me (south of Boston) had the exact model, trim, and color I wanted. But Scott worked his “magic” and located the car at a Boston-area dealership. He also coached me on handling the transaction, which went smoothly. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations—it was the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. The fee was well worth it, and I would gladly use Scott again and recommend him to friends in the market for a new vehicle.

Barely a week after our kickoff call, he had four test drives set up in one day for us as smoothly as one could imagine. Three days later, we found ourselves heading to the dealer to pick up precisely the car we wanted—when we had expected there would be none to be found. I would not recommend using this car broker. The process felt very outdated from the start. Although we never met in person, the intake process was still done using a paper form that he filled out while speaking with me over the phone. When a correction needed to be made, he complained about having to use White-Out - something I actually had to research because it's not commonly used by my generation. I was very clear about what I wanted in a vehicle, but instead, I was repeatedly advised against my preferences and steered toward a different brand. Looking back, I feel my expectations were not managed appropriately. My budget, desired vehicle size, and performance requirements did not realistically align, *yet I was led to believe they could*. After searching for over a year, I eventually settled for a vehicle from a brand I had never seriously considered, and it still didn't fully meet my expectations in terms of horsepower and overall performance. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle, but there was no meaningful negotiation on my behalf. In the end, I went to the dealership alone, handled the paperwork myself, and completed the purchase without any noticeable support during the final stages. Once the sale was completed, I never heard from him again. Overall, I did not feel that the service provided justified using a broker. If you're looking for someone to advocate for your interests and negotiate on your behalf, that was not my experience.
