I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying a vehicle through Clean Slate Motors to do thorough research before signing anything. My experience after my vehicle was declared a total loss has been incredibly frustrating. I was told there would be money remaining after my loan was paid off, but when it came time to receive it, I was given conflicting information and have been unable to get a clear explanation. Communication has been inconsistent, and I have spent far too much time trying to get answers. As a customer, I expected honesty, transparency, and follow-through. Instead, I have been left feeling ignored and forced to consider hiring an attorney just to understand and protect my rights. I’m sharing my experience so others know to ask detailed questions about how insurance payouts are handled, what happens if a vehicle is totaled, and how any remaining funds are distributed. Get everything in writing, keep copies of all communications, and don’t rely on verbal promises. This review reflects my personal experience. I hope Clean Slate Motors improves its communication and transparency so future customers don’t have to go through what I have experienced.

Worst place to purchase a vehicle! Don’t do it! Please go somewhere else! They don’t uphold warranty, they have good shells but horrible quality under the hood!, When you get an initial price for a car, they will add $1000 to it and say the “finance company “ wants it! and get this, they split it up into two separate payments which is due a week after purchase!, they also attach a device to the car, so if you are late, they disable your car. They are rude, nonchalant, and say anything to get you off of the phone! I have been trying to get the a/c fixed along with other issues since Feb 7th 2026! After no one helping me I decided to go in, while I was there, 5 other people were there for repairs!! They had JUST purchased their vehicles too! I know how hard it is without transportation but PLEASE don’t spend your hard earned money here! I have an autistic son and a 45 minute to and from commute in this Louisiana heat, which I have expressed to them! They are currently under new management but I have not seen a difference!, it’s all about quick sales! Also, the new owner bought freon for my A/C and told me to get my man or brother to put it in!, I did, it didn’t work. They told me to go to pep-boys on Friday March 13 2026 for 7:30am, I did, those people had NO idea I was coming!! So today is 3/16/26 I emailed, texted and called! Still NO help. Do yourself a favor and don’t do business here! I regret that decision everyday! Just trying to save another mom or family a headache and money loss!! Do not go to this dealership
