Bought a used mazda cx-5 here (was a trade-in) with a little over 22k miles. Had issues with it the same day I brought it home after being reassured that the car was ready to go and had been thoroughly looked over. Found a plug in tire and was almost completely flat after driving it home. (Plug hadn’t even been sealed amateur work lol) also noticed it was making a humming/ vibrating sound coming from the right side of the car. Immediately called the same day and followed up the day after and spoke with my sales person and with 2 different people from service. Told them all the same thing. Plugged tire & weird noise. I came in and they put the spare on my car and said to come back the following day to replace the tire. Didn’t say anything about the noise. Came back again to fix windshield (which had already been scheduled) and I mentioned the noise was getting louder and worse when driving above 40 mph and felt unsafe to drive. Was told they didn’t have time to look at it and I responded that I had brought it up multiple times already with no resolution (was dismissed by 3 different people). They end up doing a “full diagnostic” on the car and have my sales person instead of a service person come talk to me about what’s going on. (weird right?) He then tells me my tires are badly “cupped” and offers to discount me to buy four new tires from Acura. Lol. I didn’t thankfully and brought my car to Mazda a few days later to find out that my tires were perfectly fine but that the right hub bearing on the car needs to be replaced. Overall, bad experience. They didn’t take me serious at all, and their service department either doesn’t know how to work on cars or they again were being dismissive and decided they would just try to make me spend more money instead of finding the issue and resolving it. (All of this happened within a little over a week of purchasing the car). Overall, disappointed with my experience because I spent a lot of money and they made me feel like a burden for bringing the issues the car they sold to me was having immediately after purchasing after telling me to bring it to them if I had any issues. What a joke seriously. Zero integrity whatsoever. 0/10. Edit to add: I reached out after going to Mazda to let the service dept know that they had messed up. Had to call 3 times because they kept disconnecting me. All I got was “I’m sorry about that”. So basically no accountability taken. I asked to talk to a manager but I doubt if it was even a manager I spoke to because it was the same service advisor I’d seen a few times. Wanted to add this before Acura responds asking why I didn’t reach out directly because I did so many times! Also Mazda will be fixing my car this week :) They noticed the issue immediately and were very upfront with me, didn’t dismiss me even once. Too bad Acura lacks that professionalism and accuracy.
