I would highly recommend to purchase a used car from some where else. We went to Cable Dahmer because we had just purchased a brand new Kia form the on in Lawrence. There was a truck we wanted to look at for our 15 year old son and made and appointment to look at it. When that day came, the truck was not available any more. We asked why we were not notified of it not be available as we could have continued our search. They stated that just got a trade in and it would be in our price range and they would work with us. Went in and looked at the truck, that still had not been thru service yet. We were hesitant on purchasing it and asked if we could give them and answer on Monday morning (we were approved and such) as we wanted to look at insurance costs and such. We were told they would not hold the truck and that it was already posted online (which was a lie) and if we wanted it, we had to sign the papers right then. Did not give us a chance to looo into costs of everything. We decided to sign the paperwork, did not get extended warranty because we were promised that everything would be good to go on the truck and plus it was $75+ a month more. (Adding another car payment plus insurance was going up, could not afford the warranty monthly) We did not get the truck until the following Tuesday. We have had the truck for 60 days now, just got the tags. It is maybe driven once a week as it is for our 15 year old and school is not in session. Went in to drive it, there was dust on the windshield. Went to run the wiper and fluid to clean it. We thought hmm, weird, isn’t working, must be out of fluid, went bought fluid, and still did not work. Call Chevy today. They stated because we did not buy the warranty we have to pay now for a diagnostic fee. But that is something that should have been fixed before we picked up the truck. They promised a good working truck for our 15 year old son, now it is unsafe as the wipers do not work. DO NOT BUY USED CARS FROM THEM. THEY PROMISE THINGS AND DO NOT FOLLOW THRU!
