Cable Dahmer Buick GMC of Topeka

We had a major issue with our 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD diesel truck, and we were just passing through Topeka. Our service consultant, James F. was johnny-on-the-spot. He got us in so quickly, and the technician Tyler diagnosed the problem by the end of the day. Unfortunately, it was an issue that they could not repair. James managed to still find us a shop that could fix it, plus got the truck to that shop (ICE Automotive LLC in Holton, KS), but he wasn't done yet. Our RV needed to be moved to another RV park, and this guy volunteered to do it without hesitation! I could not recommend Cable Dahmer more highly. We were headed to Colorado from Kentucky and had truck problems, arrived at Cable Demar around 3 pm Saturday in a panic. Staff was very helpful and assured we would receive a call Monday regarding diagnosis. Amanda was wonderful, facilitated the repair and we were able to pick the truck up on our way home Friday. We couldn’t have asked for better communication or service! Thanks to all involved! Highly recommend!

Our shopping trip today to find a vehicle was quite rewarding. Our salesman Jeremiah knew his stuff. He was very accomodative and really paid attention to what we were looking for, from brand and model to features, years and mileage . With his help, we found exactly what we wanted in our price range. The entire experience was very low key, we never felt rushed or pressured. Jerimiah deserves kudos for his patience and attention to detail. Cable Dahmer is a wonderful place to shop for a new or or preowned vehicle.

Scheduled an appointment to look at a truck Showed up and truck we'd talked about for two days was unavailable for sale because they "hadn't inspected it yet". It was on car selling sites for a week before I went there. I told them I was leaving. Then tried to keep my trade in vehicle away from me to keep me on the lot while three different sales people badgered me about staying. I don't expect sleazy sales tactics from a place with $100k vehicles on their showroom floor.

Don't let them work on your vehicle! I have a 2016 escalade that they replaced the transmission in june of 2021 with a new one with a 3yr 100000 mile warranty. Fast foward to april of 2024 the ac condenser goes bad and they replace it.. They didn't install transmission coolant lines on correctly causing them to blow off and transmission fluid goes everywhere an causing transmission to severely overheat and leaving me stranded on highway. Have it towed back to them. They then fixed the lines but the damage to transmission was already done. Fast forward a few months later the transmission goes out. They will not own up to their mistakes and want to charge me 8 thousand dollars to repair it and will not honor warrenty cause it's 2 months past 3 years. Stay far away from that dealership and DO NOT do business with them.
