I can’t say enough good things about the service department at Witham Auto in Waterloo. From the moment I called, Brooke took the time to truly listen to my concerns instead of dismissing them. I had serious doubts about a diagnosis from another repair shop that wanted to replace a module but admitted they couldn’t guarantee it would solve the problem. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and brought my truck to Witham Auto. Rather than simply replacing the first module that wasn’t communicating, their technicians took the time to investigate the entire system and look at the bigger picture. They ultimately determined that a different module had actually failed. Ironically, it was a more expensive repair than what the first shop wanted to try. That told me everything I needed to know—it was never about selling me the cheapest fix or the most expensive one. It was about finding the right fix. Their thorough diagnosis likely saved me thousands of dollars by preventing unnecessary repairs and the frustration of chasing the wrong problem. More importantly, they listened. They considered all of my concerns instead of focusing on just one symptom, and that made all the difference. A heartfelt thank you to Brooke and the entire service team for your professionalism, honesty, and commitment to getting it right the first time. Everyone was absolutely amazing! Our family was driving from MN to FL for a move and of course our battery and alternator decided it was a great time to act up, at 4:45 pm too! I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dealership. What should have been an exciting and positive process turned into a stressful and frustrating situation due to poor communication, lack of professionalism, and disrespectful treatment. Throughout my experience, I felt dismissed and intimidated when trying to address ongoing concerns regarding my vehicle and repairs. Instead of receiving understanding and support, I was met with sarcasm, rude behavior, and a lack of transparency. I specifically felt uncomfortable with how Director Aaron Potter handled interactions with me, as his attitude came across as intimidating and unprofessional rather than helpful. I also became frustrated when attempting to obtain repair documentation and clear answers regarding the work performed on my vehicle. As a customer, I should not have to repeatedly push for information or feel like details are being withheld. Communication should be honest, respectful, and straightforward. As a younger female customer, I left feeling that my concerns were not taken as seriously as they should have been. Customers deserve to be treated with respect regardless of age or gender, especially when making major financial decisions involving a vehicle purchase or repairs. I expected much better customer service, accountability, and professionalism from this dealership. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect the level of care and integrity customers should receive.

When i first arrived at the dealership I worked with a gentleman named Travis. Travis could hardly give us any information about the vehicle I was interested in (couldn’t even tell us how often the cars were started). I test drove the SUV and the brakes sounded / felt a little funky. We brought this to the attention of one of the sales managers and said that they would take care of it or put in a work order. At this point, I was pretty certain I wanted to buy the SUV as long as the brakes were fixed, and they had mentioned they could write it in the sales agreement. (Keep in mind when I left the dealership that day they offered $1000 off this vehicle immediately) I had texted and called several times, regarding the brakes being fixed, and no one could give me any information regarding if the car was being serviced or if anything was scheduled. I have a text message from David at the dealership stating that the rotors needed resurfaced (confused since I know rotors just get replaced now and not resurfaced but whatever). And said that they were going to get it scheduled. A couple days go by and I still haven’t heard anything, but at this point, I was ready to buy the vehicle regardless of if it had been serviced or not. All I cared is that it was written in the sales agreement. I had two different people at this dealership tell me they could do $24,000 out the door for this particular SUV. When I called the day I wanted to purchase the vehicle I was met with disapproval. This sales manager in particular told me that he would never do $24,000 out the door for this vehicle and that one of their techs drove the vehicle, and could ensure that nothing was wrong with the brakes. (I HAVE SPOKE WITH 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLR REGARDING WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR ME AS FAR AS NUMBERS) At this point, I had talked to six different people and no one could remember Telling me 24,000 out the door and that the rotors needed resurfaced even though I had it in writing that someone mentioned the rotors needing to be resurfaced. Obviously, I did not go with purchasing this vehicle since I was lied to you about what they could do for me as far as numbers go and something being wrong with the brakes. I am extremely disappointed with this dealership and will never be purchasing a vehicle from them ever. They are slimy, and no one knows what’s going on. The lack of communication is horrendous.
