Bought a 2008 Mazda for my daughter and took it for a oil change and my mechanic told me the frame was rusted and truly unsafe for her to drive. I contacted TBK and asked if I could exchange the car for something of equal value though I understand i bought the car as is and hadn't had it morr than 15 days to 21 days. They allowed me to return the car and exchange it for another one of equal value. I appreciate thier integrity and honesty as a dealership to assist me in ensuring I had a safe car for my daughter to drive. I recommend them to anyone looking for a car!

They are super helpful my credit is in the 400’s and they were still able to get me and my boyfriend the car we wanted with a low down payment and low monthly payments they are honestly the easiest people we have dealt with and not once did they judge us or anything definitely will recommend going there if your looking for a low down payment and a nice car for a decent price and they have really nice cars and are very honest about what’s wrong with them or if they haven’t had time to deal with it THANK YOU GUY’S!!!

Haven't even been working with these guys for 2 days, and I already have a new truck. It's clean, sounds nice, and drives smooth. They made the process seamless and very easy to be a part of. I purchased a car from TBK in January of this year. It’s a 2005 Mazda. I was told and reassured time and time again that it had no major issues. I realize I bought an older 200k mile car for $1500- but I attempted to fudge the price a little and they refused. I was told that ONE, (Not two, not 4) rotor was replaced. (This was in fact not true as all of them were rusted ON to the wheel hub.) the front brakes had just been done, however since the rotors were shot id have to have them re-done. There was a check engine light on in the car which I was aware of. I was told it was a $40 sensor. $140 later, I bought the sensor and had it replaced. The windshield was broken when I bought it, that’s probably around $100 fix. (No biggie.) FOUR DAYS after I purchased this car (I live two hours from the dealership) my ball joint on the passenger side failed. BOTH control arms were rusted out and had to be replaced - which includes the ball joints for this car. When the wheel practically fell off my car (yes I was in fact driving down the highway) it bent my strut. My mechanic shop recommended replacing both - not because they wanted to make more money but because the car would ride unevenly without replacing both. The sway bar link broke when my ball joint failed, and the other one was already broken. Struts were around $90/piece. That’s $180. Sway Bar Links - $60 for both in the front. Lower control arms for both sides were around $100 total. The sensor I had to buy was $140 New MAF sensor - $90 4 rotors - $100 Two new sets of brakes - $50. Towing once the control arm/ball joint failed - $150 Oil drain plug and gasket - $20 It has no freaking e brake - $30 Upon getting the back brakes replaced, the rear sway bar end links are both broken. Those are $30 total. That, in parts alone, is $950. $950 out of my pocket. $950 that TBK refused to help with. When I called them to let them know what had happened- they stated they would pay for HALF the cost of the labor of doing ONE control arm. I took it to a mechanic SHOP. They said both NEEDED replaced. It also has a bad oil leak - and they said they JUST did an oil change on it. We found at the shop the oil was very old. The oil drain plug and gasket were both bad. Another $20. Plus the oil change even though they said it just had one. They didn’t have a single service record on the car either. I called TBK back to let them know what my shop said. They argued, and said I would need to get it to Des Moines to THEIR preferred shop in order for them to pay half the labor of the one control arm. I let them know the car couldn’t move, they basically told me too bad and that they didn’t believe my shop! I ended up having to front the money for every repair for this car, including parts. I’ve spent not only $1500 on the car itself, but $920 in parts and around $1000 in labor. The fact that I bought an old car is okay, some of these things are expected. But to spend nearly $2,000 plus the $1500 I spent on the car with no recourse from the dealership is absolutely ridiculous. You’d think if you wanted a good reputation you would thoroughly inspect a car before you sell it. The ball joint failure could have been a lot worse than it was, but it put me and my 4 year old sons life at risk as we were on the 4 lane highway going the speed limit of 55mph. My wheel went almost underneath the car completely and I almost hit another vehicle. I’ve definitely learned my lesson, but not before I ended up spending almost $4000 on a POS car.
