I had a great experience working with Robert Martinez at Smart Honda of Davenport. From start to finish, he was patient, professional, and easy to work with. He didn’t pressure me at all and made the whole process feel a lot less stressful than I expected. I live about an hour away, and I called in explaining exactly what I wanted for a car and what my down payment, and monthly budget was. They handled everything over the phone, got me approved, and I was able to pick up my car the very next day. I had a few challenges with financing as I had less than perfect credit and he still worked hard to help me get into a 2026 Honda Civic. He stayed responsive, answered my questions, and made sure everything was explained clearly. Did I mention I even got a decent APR too?! He even had my car all shined up with a big red bow on it when I picked it up, which made the moment feel extra special. Doug in finance was also amazing to work with—very personable and made that side of things so smooth and easy. Overall, I really appreciated their honesty and effort throughout the process. This was my first adult purchase and I was smiling ear to ear the entire time. If you’re looking for a team that will actually work with you and not just try to sell you something, I’d definitely recommend asking for Robert.
