We bought a '11 Chrysler 200 Convertible 3/13/26. During the buying process he said it had a recent electrical problem & had it repaired. We paid cash & drove it over an hr home. So far no problems. Everyone with the negative comments needs to chill out, buyer beware. A positive experience all the way around!

I bought my first car here the other day, and I couldn't be happier! The staff were super friendly and down to earth. When I was buying the car, they went through all the paperwork with me and made sure I understood everything. Overall it was a great experience!

Never thought in a million years id buy off this car lot, but i did. Just want to add I definitely got this vehicle inspected and already put 1,000$ dollars into it BUT…. I had let it slide because #1 when Hawkeye had it they had been replacing parts on the vehicles even I could tell because there were tags on parts under the car. #2 i spent $500 on a coil (and just to be safe new spark plugs which added to that expense) BUT AGAIN, Hawkeye Auto had been in there working on it because some of the coils were new. The other $500 were just for brakes. But that eventually is just required maintenance. Compared to my last vehicle I had i could handle that. They might not have the technology or equipment to pinpoint a specific coil, cylendar, etc. BUT i am 100% happy with my purchase, and i love my car. No regrets, so far! No BIG issues compared to what has happened to me in the past and buying from places like Mcgrath Auto! I always suggest people pay to get their vehicles inspected so you know what you’re getting, common sense!

Had called to ask about a vehicle I was interested in and when I asked him when the vehicle's transmission was last serviced, I was told that he couldn't tell me because he didn't have the information in front of him. I drove an hour to test drive this vehicle and it was obvious the vehicle had transmission issues where it was slipping and making noise. When the car was brought back, I had informed him about it, and he replied that he wasn't aware of it and that he'd have his guys look at it. I ended up going with a different vehicle that seemed fine when I looked it over and test drove it, but when I got home from work later that night, I discovered some issues with the cv axles and an oil leak on top of the engine. Yes, the vehicles are used, and you buy at your own risk, and he even has big yellow signs in the front office stating this. Either he has mechanics that don't really know much about vehicles, or he has no one to inspect his vehicles, and he just flips them once he gets them. Also, the whole business model of putting money on it and taking it to a mechanic doesn't really work because almost every mechanic I know will sit on your vehicle for a week or more before they can even get to looking at it and then if they find issues with it and you decide not to commit to the purchase, you are out of the money you put down on it because it's nonrefundable. Overall, the vehicle is in decent shape and it's worth it to me to get a new motor put into it a couple of years down the road, and I have the mechanical knowledge to fix it up myself, so my experience gets 2 stars instead of 1. Update: More issues found after getting my mechanic to check some other things over. Vehicle is hemorrhaging oil out of the timing chain cover and dripping down onto the exhaust manifold and the vehicle started overheating on me when I drove it home after getting off work. We found that someone had put stop-leak into the coolant system, so could be headgasket issues. It looks like the motor will either need to be replaced or at the very least, re-sealed. Either way, motor has to come out. Update #2: After having my vehicle for almost an entire month, my mechanic has determined that the entire engine needs to be pulled out and re sealed, the front end needs a CV axle replacement, the exhaust manifold is cracked and leaking exhaust, and he is going to try flushing the coolant system and replacing the thermostat. All together, over $2500 worth of repairs needed. I recommend avoiding this place and going with a dealership that actually knows its vehicles in its inventory.

Called about a car they had, asked if anything wrong if drove fine. They said no problems at all. Had to drive over hour and half to get there. Got there thermostat housing is cracked he told me b4 I ever drove car. I took car for ride had a bad death wobble at 60mph . He acted like it was nothing. His mechanic said I wouldn't drive that thing home. So I told him I would come back in 4 days to buy it if they fixed it. And he didnt wanna do that so I ledt empty handed
