NICK'S AUTO NOOK

I bought my truck off of Nicks Auto, a few years ago. I thought it was a great deal for an OBS Chevy that was setup the way I wanted it. He was an awesome guy to just sit down and have a conversation with. He was honest about everything. It was a straight foward process for me. I have been working on vehicles since I was a teenager. I already know what to expect out of older vehicles. I knew what was wrong and what will go wrong on a high mileage OBS Chevy. People need to keep in mind. These vehicles come from an auction. Nick takes a gamble on these vehicles as well. Things are probably going to break after you buy it. Nick will not hide anything from you though. You will get the same experence with bigger dealerships. They put used vehicles on their lot that are a gamble, but they will lie to you about issues. You will get a better deal and experence from Nick, than going with one of the corporate owned dealerships in Lafayette.

Bought a vehicle from Nick. He discounted the price considering it needed a little work done. He was a straight forward guy and up front about work needing done. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for an affordable, and strong running vehicle.

I needed a solid work truck for my hotshot business, for a reasonable price, mo frills, nothing fancy and certainly no bullshit. Nick delivered. I am completely satisfied with my f250 and I'd buy another truck from him again

Nick was cool at first, really felt comfortable with the purchase and we had some rapport. I wasnt looking for a show car, just something reliable. I chose a 03 Tacoma for around 8k. Was charged extra for some optional repairs and left at about 9k. As soon as I got it home there was a leak in the gas tank. Told him about it and he said he would fix it. Sat in my driveway for about a week, staining the concrete and reeking of gas. Nick Comes and takes for it another week and finally gets it repaired. He dropped it off in my driveway without much notice and told me day of while I was at work. Another week or so goes by and I am going to get the registration and the forms were filled out wrong. I text him to rectify it and he gets an attitude and says I should contact the leinholder. I sent him the leinholders number and he re-asserted that he was too busy to take care of it. When I pushed back by saying “I feel like you should do it” he said “If thats how you wanna play it” in a annoyed tone of voice. While maybe not a big deal to some, If I was running a business I would take responsibility for my mistakes, even if it was inconvenient. Instead he told me he was at an auction and couldnt be bothered. Not to mention I also found out that several parts internally have to be completely replaced. Overall I wouldnt reccomend based on customer service, product quality and a failure of integrity. If it wasn’t me getting taken advantage of, it could be someone’s grandma or grandpa. Sad to see stuff like this.
