Landmark Ford Trucks gave me more money for my Challenger than CarMax, Carvana, and S&K Buick GMC. The process was also much easier and quicker than those other places. I'm very happy I decided to stop in and give them a try!

Eric Rice was a life saver when I completely totaled my car. It left me car less and he complete went above and beyond to find something that was affordable and within my budget. Plus it had all the amenities I wanted.

My recent experience with Landmark Ford was deeply disappointing and ultimately resulted in the loss of my business after more than six years as a loyal Ford Motor Company customer. I visited the dealership prepared to negotiate the purchase of an F-250. During the course of discussions, I experienced what I perceived to be dismissive and disrespectful conduct from the finance manager. The interaction did not reflect the level of professionalism one would reasonably expect during a significant vehicle transaction. As a result, I chose to leave the dealership. Subsequently, I was contacted by a member of the sales team and informed that the General Manager was willing to revisit the terms of the deal. Based on that representation, I returned to the dealership. Upon arrival, however, I was informed that the General Manager was no longer available and was instead directed to speak with another manager. During this discussion, I calmly outlined my concerns regarding the prior interaction. Rather than addressing those concerns objectively, the manager immediately defended the finance manager and dismissed my account of the incident. The conversation concluded with the manager asking, in a blunt manner, whether I intended to purchase the vehicle. I responded that I would indeed be purchasing a vehicle, but not from that dealership. At that point, the manager raised his voice and directed me to leave the premises. Being treated in that manner as a serious buyer prepared to complete a transaction was unacceptable. As a result of this experience, I chose to take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, this incident not only cost the dealership a sale, but also ended my long-standing loyalty to Ford, as I ultimately purchased from GMC instead.

There must be something about name Landmark. I’ve had misfortune of dealing with Landmark East in Springfield. They had my car for seven months!!!! No communication ever. I called left voice mails, emails to Jason. No replies nothing. I hear that they after seven months decide to drive over to Taylorville to do repair!!! I assume that Landmark East had no technicians capable of doing the repair. Finally told car is done. Shortly after I had purchased this car, back passenger tire kept going flat. I called spoke with Trevor/Tyler who was General Manager who said to bring it in. I did and I sat and sat and went walked to Mario’s, ate get back still no new tire put on. Funny story three months later come out of Walmart that same new replacement tire FLAT. The tire that Landmark had replaced. Service technician asked who put it on. I replied Landmark. He tells me they put in on backwards!!!!!!!!! Rental from Landmark was a 2025 Ford Escape. My son was taking lawn mower to mow a lawn and pulled lever on drivers side thinking it’s trunk unaware it was hood. Figures out opening trunk and proceeds to take off about 3 blocks down a busy street, Macarthur Boulevard the hood flies up hitting and breaking windshield while also, putting a large dent on hood. The repair for both cost me a 500 deductible and higher insurance rates. Ford has class action lawsuit due to fact they did not install lever requiring you to release lever to open hood. There have been numerous accidents, crashes, injuries because they chose to save $$$ to manufacture and install. It doesn’t say much about their concern for human lives. They chose profit over the consumers safety. It’s sad. I had always bought Fords. My first car was a Pinto in 1976. Then a two tone tan Ford Escort. I had a beautiful mint green Ford Focus, loved it.traded it in for another Ford Focus this time a sedan was great for hauling large items. Actually used it to move Daughter, then son to their own homes. Neither of them drive a Ford or want to. Long , long story hard to shorten. I’m summer I had to spend 2500 for brakes, struts and a re-alighnment. I did vin number search it’s been in four accidents none which was disclosed. I wish I would have went anywhere else than Landmark Ford. It’s telling in very fact none of employees there in November of 2025 when I purchased it are even still there!!!! The replacement General Manager is RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Receptionist accused my son of being a liar. Very unprofessional employees. Bathroom out of toilet paper and towels, healthviolation. THE END THAT’S ALL FOLK’S . This was just like a Bad cartoon. 🤣🤣

I had a 2013 Ford Focus Titanium with just over 100k miles that needed a part replaced under warranty. Took it to this dealership for the warranty work. No problems yet. I call to check in about once a week, no progress for about 3 weeks. Then I'm told that part needed is back ordered and it could be 6+ months before I get my primary, daily commute, vehicle back. Obviously that's not going to work, so I come into the dealership to try to figure out a trade deal, so that I can get back on the road and they can just sell the car once the part is available. Still no problems so far. They try to offer me $500 for my vehicle, knowing that the trade in value is at least a few thousand more than that. I assume they were throwing garbage offers because they knew I needed a car and they knew my car was going to be out for 6 months and I would have a tough time selling it elsewhere because of that. I could have taken the car to a scrap yard for $500. I tell them I would like to look at this specific vehicle they have posted on the used car website. They say that car is actually not for sale and its good price is more just a tactic to get people to come in... So they show me a "similar" 2020 Hyundai Elantra, that's priced a couple thousand dollars higher than the car I wanted to look at. They pull the car up, leave it running with the keys in the car so it is ready for me. I test drove the car, and it was fine. I reluctantly start trying to get something setup so I can have a vehicle to commute to work. I did not ask to see a Carfax because I was told the car was a clean title (It technically is), that was a mistake I guess. We ended up getting to $1250 for my trade in, which was still a horrible offer. After all the paperwork is signed, I'm handed the singular key. No key fob, just a single fob-less key. So that's already something I didn't know about, I had to go to the Hyundai dealership the next day and pay $200+ for a new key fob. I guess I should have done a more thorough inspection of the trunk as well, because all the tire change equipment and spare tire were missing. Had to source those myself from online, post-purchase. The last undisclosed surprise was that the car was previously stolen and recovered and front end damage reported, so that is a ding on the car's history. So not only did I overpay for the car and get underpaid for my trade in, the car has bad history, no fobs, and missing emergency equipment. Soon into ownership, I also had to take the car to Hyundai for some electric problems, like the defrosters not working and the dash brightness buttons not working. Overall, this way the worst car buying experience of my life; there was dishonesty throughout the whole process. And now because of the bad history, it's even more difficult to get rid of the car because other dealerships are going to give me a ding on their value for it. At this point I don't even know that they can make it right because the amount of the loan they trapped me in vs. the vehicle's current value are so far apart.
