I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding a vehicle I purchased from Legacy Auto Sales. I traveled from out of state and drove to Boise in April to purchase the vehicle because I believed Legacy Auto Sales was a reputable and trustworthy dealer. Unfortunately, less than 60 days after the purchase, the engine seized, leaving me with a vehicle that requires a complete engine replacement. The cost of replacing the engine exceeds the value of the vehicle itself. Since this issue arose, I have attempted to work with Manu and Johnny to find a reasonable solution. However, I have not received meaningful assistance, and we have been left to deal with a very difficult financial situation on our own. I have also learned that the vehicle had not been serviced since 2025. Based on the condition of the vehicle and the mechanical failure that occurred shortly after purchase, I do not believe the vehicle was properly serviced or inspected before being sold, despite representations that it was a reliable vehicle. This situation has placed a significant financial burden on my family and could potentially have been avoided if the vehicle had been properly maintained and inspected prior to sale.  I would recommend looking elsewhere for your next vehicle.  Legacy Auto Sales is not reputable.
