2089 Riverside Dr, Macon, GA 31204What do customers say about Riverside Ford?
I live in RI and Riverside had the Bronco with the features I wanted. I flew down and picked it up. I saved quite a bit of money!! Lane and James in sales couldn’t have been more helpful before and during the purchase . They followed up when I was on the road to see how I liked the car!! The truck was perfect!! The transaction was smooth. James in finance gave me a great price on the ford direct warranty program. Thank you guys.
I found the perfect car at Riverside Ford. Unfortunately, the car was a 12 hour roundtrip drive from where I live. I was hesitant to make such a large purchase, so far away. Riverside Ford checked all the boxes. No pushy sales. Just professional and friendly customer service. Pictures, videos, and anything else I needed to make me feel confident in my decision. Thank you Riverside ford for a great experience!
I couldn't be more pleased with this dealership's service department ... both Quick Lane and the main service lane! I've been routinely using Quick Lane for almost ten years; and each time I receive friendly and courteous service with "informative, no-pressure" recommendations to keep my Ford running smoothly. As a result of following those routine recommendations, my first "check engine" light came on last week at 175,000 miles. In the main service lane, I experienced the same great, quality, personal service that I had become accustomed to through Quick Lane. Trey Prickett, my service advisor, took me right in .... explained the diagnostic process, gave me a realistic time frame for which to expect the results, delivered those results exactly within that time frame - complete with a recommended action plan to address the cause of the problems. Trey answered every single question I had, patiently - because I ask a lot of questions, without any pressure. I authorized the repairs, as well as added two other concerns I wanted evaluated. Trey kept me updated every step of the way ... timely, courteously, patiently ... with clear communication, accurate information, and realistic expectations. Again, I couldn't be more pleased with Riverside Ford service!! Thanks Trey!! Thanks Team!! (I don't have experience with the sales department; however, I'm sure that review will come when it's time for my next Ford ... I expect to be just as pleased!)
Let’s start this off with the purchase process was amazing. My salesman was top notch super respectful and helpful throughout the process. We noticed some rock chips on the window when purchasing and they were more than happy to replace it. I will caveat though that when we were finalizing paperwork the gentleman who processes the down payment and loan paperwork offered an extended warranty. I respectfully declined it as it was certified by Ford and was still under powertrain warranty from the manufacture. His response was well you spoke to soon I was going to give it to you for free. To which I responded were you really and all he did was scoff and say yeah and turned back to his computer. If you were actually going to give it for free then why even ask just put it in the deal or just say we are adding an extended warranty at no additional charge. I don’t see a reason for the smart response. After that we were told that we couldn’t take the truck home and we would have to come back Monday to pick it up. At that point I was very confused as we had just wired 15k over and our loan company had already sent over the paperwork for the remaining balance. Turns out it was a communication error between our salesman and the individual who was processing our paperwork same one with the rude response. Post purchase is where the bigger problems started. Yes they replaced the windshield as part of the deal but whoever they contract with left black silicone glue marks on the dash and A pillars on both sides. I could see fingerprints and hand marks where they grabbed it and residue and crumbs from the old windshield scattered over the dash. They left the windshield washer fluid hose disconnected so I went to use it and it sprayed washer fluid all of the engine bay. Let alone the razor blade cut on my hood. Within a few days of purchase I noticed that a backlight on the hvac controls was burnt out. It’s really only noticeable at night and I bought it during the day. I brought it to the attention of my salesman and he told me they would look at it when I brought it in for the windshield replacement. However they did not. This is also when I finally got the second key to the truck. Why I wasn’t given both at purchase I am not sure. Maybe I should’ve pushed harder for it. Plus I never actually got a call that the truck was done. I had to call and ask if it was. This is also after having to reschedule the appointment a few times because the contracted company didn’t show up. Which I had to continuously call to see when I could bring it in. When I noticed all the junk and marks all over the truck I brought it up and we settled on an interior/exterior detail when I brought it back for them to look at the light. (I never got that) Fast forward a little when I brought it back to have them look at the burnt out light. (The whole control unit needs to be replaced $100 oem). After calling at least 3-4 times and leaving voicemails each time I never received a phone call back. (After reading some other reviews it seams this is a common trend with service) I even called over the weekend and all I got was the service department doesn’t work on weekends try again on Monday. There answer to me over the phone when I finally heard back was nothing is wrong with it. Then in store when I picked up the truck I was told there is nothing they can do about it and I would have to bring it to a gm dealer to have it fixed on my own dime. I even called Ford since it was a Ford Blue Advantage certified truck because nothing was getting resolved. Before I pressed it with Ford I reached back out to give them another chance to come to some form of resolution I was informed they were going to reach out to the owner of the dealership because she was the one that could make something happen. The last I heard back was November 19th. I bought the truck in September. At this point I will just end up buying the part and replacing it myself. I can’t keep taking days off of work and driving 40+ miles round trip to deal with it.
I have my car for sale on market place, and Riverside called me and said they wanted to buy my car. I told them up front that I would not take less than what I was asking, they said no problem they were trying to build up the use car inventory. So I decided to take it in (having a feeling this was a scam) when I got there appraiser said he had to drive it no problem gone less than five minutes listed a list of things that needed to be replaced including something in all 4 tires. Now my car is 2 years old, and I keep my oil and maintenance up to date. 2 weeks ago I took my car in for oil change and maintenance they check all my fluids and checked and rotated tires. When I left said my car was in excellent shape! But 5 Stars said it needed so much repaired and there is a small scratch on drivers door from branch they said had to replace the whole door. I was asking 19 thousand they said it was only worth 8 and he could sell it for more than 13!! OMG these guys are such a rip off. If you are not going to be honest then you should not contact people. When they emailed me to bring it in they said they knew there would not be a problem getting me what I am asking. DO NOT believe a thing they say.
