I really just got my car yesterday at about 5. Process was I applied, contacted insurance, provided Driver’s license, paystubs, utility bill, and insurance company, took down payment and was in the uber to there longer than it took me to sign everything and leave. (Call to insurance company took the longest.) As for the car I picked it out of the cars they had online. Why? Because it was the cheapest and I needed a car. I rented the 2011 Dodge Charger. There are a lot of do’s and don’ts. One being… I can not go over like 2k miles a month. Two… can not pay off early. Three… must stay in state. The car as a tracker. The car has a noise that drives me insane, the check engine light is on, and there are some type of fumes coming from it. I drove it home in the rain and the windshield wipers were terrible. Car drove ok considering it’s not my car. The tent on the back is bubbling up. I am not going to say anything cause I need the tent in Florida. My payments are about 250-260 for 2 years every 2 weeks, 500 down payment, I brought something like $1k with me and drove off with a car. (You can not customize, add nor subtract anything) Tent is a must. It squeals when you break, but the breaks don’t like to be bad. Tags weren’t screwed on so the fell of near my home (blessed). There’s holes in the seats, rear view mirror doesn’t work (the mirror part is peeling off), tires are in good condition, driver door sticks when trying to open it, has 158k miles, there was a 1/4 of a tank of gas in it at pick up, and the inside and out needed a good hosing down. The customer service is so so, over the phone they are straight to the point no bs. I Love that part. Beggars can’t be choosers. I have the income but don’t have the credit. I gave 3 stars because I am not sure about the company just yet nor the car. It seems to be ok but I don’t like to stick my foot in my mouth. I am going to call it as I see it. It is okay so far. Could be better, could be worse. I will try to remember to check back around the holidays. Because my payment is due on the day of the week I picked the car up not on my payday. Payday is Friday, I got the car on Thursday. I usually get paid on Wednesday due to the 2 day early thing. Holidays are different. But if you are in a crunch and need a car it will definitely get you in there. Remember, you must stay within 50 miles from them (I went to the OBT location). Will add pictures later.

It has been a very challenging experience for me. The day I got my vehicle I noticed it was infested with roaches. When I told the salesman he said we have something good that will get those out. Completely disgusting and might I add they never took care of the bug problem. I asked them to fix the noise that was coming about when you ride down the road they claimed well it’s a used car it won’t be perfect. After 2 months the car broke down due to it over heating. I again asked them to look the tires because it’s still making noises and still driving funny. They told me it was the brakes. The next day when I was taking my daughter to work those same brakes gave out. Now I’m faced with having to deal with them being rude and nasty because I want what I’m paying for to be up to par. This company is unprofessional I do not recommend

I was in an accident that was not my fault while in their program. I was warned not to use the company but at the time I had no choice. I was in a time crunch for a car and had very little options. The accident required Rent to Own to give the insurance company the title to the car, which they did not do right away. The car was salvageable but Rent to Own refused to let me accept the check to repair the vehicle only wanting to accept the check for a total loss. When they explained to me that they did not want to have a title for an otherwise “totaled car” I understood and I explained to them that I planned on keeping the vehicle (I was still making the lease payments) which would be no loss to them. They would not budge off of this however, they told me that once they get the vehicle back, they would send over the title, and I could get a new car with little to no down payment. I then asked why I could not just transfer into another car being that I would not be the one receiving the money (by the way, they intercepted the claim with Allstate). I accepted the loss and informed them that the car was only being used in the case of emergencies being that I had four children and the vehicle was still very driveable. Rent to Own disabled the car, had it towed and the supervisor Joe refused to take my calls. It took me two weeks to get a hold of him and when I did he told me that they had to put me out of the program because I didn’t tell them when the accident was….. unfortunately this being a place that cannot legally sell cars, I saw this coming but did not want to believe a place of this size could get away with something like this. I’ve posted the damage that was done to my vehicle that they refused to let me fix. I am not out of a car and thousands of dollars. POV: This lot is very risky and very expensive, save your money, wait out the process to go to a real dealership

Save yourself please. Especially if you think this place will help you catch a break go to Credit Cars The only form of payment is via phone call, where card information isn’t stored (you’ll be repeating it every two weeks) Tolls on vehicle must be paid before the car and they are added to every payment(two weeks). The insurance must be through their third party providers. My vehicle had a tire burst while I was driving days after buying it and after market parts that I was not mad aware of until the car started shaking as well as bugs. I tried to move past all this because I’m young and just need a car for now but then the fun began please see screenshots I’ve owned the car for about a month or two and twice they disabled the vehicle without prior notice or acknowledgement outside of the control disclaimer,“ Good evening, your insurance is showing as inactive. Please get with us asap.” and “ This is of urgency, please get with your insurance and update it.“ before I was unable to make it work due to the car not working. It was also parked away from my house so the risk of it being towed was sky high. Needless to say I plan on returning the vehicle I’m not sure it’s worth the headache to be in a high mileage vehicle with after market parts and heavy financial burden. You’re looking at paying for a car note, family owned insurance and whatever else you need to put in for labor and parts
