In far less time than you’d typically expect at a dealership, my mom was driving away in her brand-new 2026 Honda Civic Sport with a huge smile on her face! My story may be a long one but it’s one worth sharing. I had to bring in my 2018 Honda Accord for service because out of the blue I got notification that all of my systems were failing.. the engine system, braking system, power stearing system, etc. it had to be a total of 9 systems failing and receiving a notification one right after the other. I got this as I had just started my 50- some odd mile trek home. So as I was heading home, I first tried pepboys to see if they could see me right away that night Because after googling It said it might be the battery was dying, blah blah blah, so I drove up just as they were about to close and I asked them if they could just do me Battery had enough charge, and that was the reason for all my system failures. They checked it, and sure enough, it was not the battery. during my ride home, I tried making an appointment with Union Park for service using their AI scheduling thing, and I wasn’t able to get in the next day with them. Which I absolutely needed due to my job. I gave them a call, was able to get in the next morning to see what the issue was. Took the majority of the day, but they found out that there were some misfirings And my air cabin filter needed to be replaced. Once that occurred, the systems seem to have been online and weren’t failing, so it seemed like the issue had been resolved. Approximately two weeks go by and the systems started failing again, so I called them immediately and got in for the next day. Ultimately, the turbo system had failed and that was gonna be a pretty expensive repair. I had been looking prior to all of my problems with the accord into trading my car in and getting a newer one anyway,, so this just sped up the process. I received the not so good news late afternoon on a Tuesday, and decided at the very last second to just go down before picking up the car to just go look and see what I could get myself into at Union Park. I was looking for a different brand at the time, but I needed something ASAP. I was partnered with a car salesman by the name of Donald who honestly Could not have been a more perfect match. While I was waiting for him, I saw this 2026 civic sport hybrid that Pretty decked out with features for the price and the gas mileage, which was my most important factor in my next car. I asked them to look in the inventory and they had only three civics On the lot, with only one of them being the one of the same trim level that I had saw while waiting for Donald. Longer story, long He was extremely patient, professional, and understanding with the dilemma that I had been put into with the car failing, but we were able to get in me into that 2026 Honda civic sport touring. Sounds like a normal salesman buyer relationship, however, during my Having to come back a second time due to the issues With the accord, they were allowing me to utilize a loaner until we could finalize the paperwork on the new car, which I absolutely appreciated and made my life easier and less worrisome. Now, for the day of the pick up, so that Friday of the same week was the day to pick up the new car, clean out the old car. I also Had my mom in town at the same time of picking up the new car, so she met me there. Donald Wares, patient with not only just Me, but also my mother, who had a couple questions in her own Honda Civic that she hadn’t been able to figure out. Hers was also a 2018 Honda Civic, so Donald sat in her car and answered the questions/technical questions that she had. Overall, Union Park and Donald exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond 1000% to make sure everything was and is still to this day going well with the vehicle. As I look back on all of the vehicles that I’ve bought more often than not, you feel like the salesman wants to sell and they get you in a car and send you on your way, but I didn’t feel this way with Donald and Union Park at all! I highly recommend both Union Park and Donald for any of your car needs. I absolutely love my Honda Civic and do not regret my purchase at all!
