I have worked with and purchased cars from Jeff Sr. at Cheap and Charming, over the years and it has been an absolute privilege. I’ve sent countless people his way to purchase a car, and every single time I’ve done so with complete confidence. You simply won’t find a more honest, trustworthy person in the business. Recently, his son, Jeff Jr., launched the repair and tech service side of the company, and it’s clear the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. He’s already building a loyal following of his own, and for good reason. A friend of mine was given a dealership estimate for several “recommended” services totaling $4,300. She called me and asked it I knew someone that could look at it. I asked Jeff Jr. to take a look. While a few items were legitimate, his total came out 75% less, oh and the car now runs like new. That kind of quality and honesty matters. And just like his dad, Jeff Jr. has earned another loyal customer. People are quick to complain, but not nearly enough take the time to say thank you. So thank you, Jeff Sr. and Jeff Jr., for your integrity, your transparency, and for restoring my faith in both car dealers and technicians.

My car is jerking while shifting from gear 1 to gear 2. I contacted the cheap and charming service about this issue, and Jeff, the person providing the service, said he would first diagnose this issue. I said ok. I asked about the diagnostic charges, which he said were $85. He also mentioned that he would have to leave the car at his service center to diagnose the issue first and then let me know. I said ok and left the car on his service center . Instead of informing me about the diagnosis, he performed the transmission oil change on my vehicle and changed the transmission filter without informing me about the diagnosis. when I went to his shop, he charged me $398 to me without solving my car jerking issue. and simply said that its tranmission internal issue which he is unable to daigonse.I already knew its a tranmission internal issueJeff said that he charged me $145 per hour charges from me which he never informed me and was not written anywhere in his workshop. He knew nothing about transmission and never take the car on his workshop. I can change the transmission oil and filter by myself. My transmision fluid is still in dark color which he has to do multiple times so that the fluid will be entirly red. I discourage people to take the car on his service center.I donot want to give him one star.
