The entire process was quick and easy and efficient.I was greeted quickly and able to provide my initial information. The car was evaluated and 20 minutes later exactly as promised I received my quote. after thinking about it for several days, I decided to proceed with the sale and the business office couldn’t have been more helpful. Hilda was extremely friendly and efficient from start to finish, the sale and paperwork was completed efficiently and all the necessary documents were in hand in about 45 minutes.

My experience at this carmax was very positive. I came in with an appointment and about an hour later drove home with my new car. Joshua my salesman was exceptional. He walked me through everything with the car and helped me trying to figure out how some of the technology worked in the vehicle. Financing was a breeze and I was extremely satisfied with the service they provided. This was my first time ever at CarMax and I will always buy my vehicles from them cause it is so much easier and more friendly environment than a traditional dealership. Thank you CarMax for the great experience.

It’s been about five or six years since we last bought a car and I cannot believe how easy the process has become or maybe it’s just this location because CarMax in East Haven made everything seamless. We looked online, found the two Honda CRVs we were interested in, and had them both shipped from other Connecticut locations right to East Haven. They arrived in time for our appointment and the whole experience from there was unbelievably smooth. We were already preapproved and had our paperwork ready, so once we got there it was totally low pressure. The cars are unlocked and you’re free to look at them without feeling hovered over. We chose the one we liked more, took it for a test drive, came back, and the rest took maybe minutes. We signed everything on the computer, no hours of negotiating, no upselling or back and forth. I declined the CarMax warranty and there was zero pushback which was refreshing. Omar was our salesperson and he was great. Super kind, down to earth, no frills and no pressure. Dominic checked us out and handled the payment and he was just as friendly. Everyone we interacted with was polite and smiling. I didn’t feel on edge or guarded like I normally do at dealerships. No one tried to swindle us or talk us into unnecessary packages. We left with a beautiful low mile Honda CRV and honestly we’re probably CarMax customers for life now. It was quick, fair, and stress free and nobody has time for the nonsense that comes with traditional car buying. If anything changes with the vehicle I’ll update later, but I don’t foresee any issues. For now, five stars all the way.

I had a great car max experience at this location but I would sincerely like to highlight who is responsible for it. Joshua Aponte is the best! He helped me from beginning to end and went out of his way to support me in trading in my car and getting a new one. I had a couple hiccups in the process and he solved every single one with care and urgency. Promote him!!! We love our new Mercedes!
