I have purchased my last 2 cars from Lakeside Auto and both times I have received remarkable service. On my 1st vehicle Andre helped me find the perfect Explorer after a previous dealership tried to sell me a few vehicles extremely out of my price range and said I would not find an SUV in my price range. Recently I went the location on Brianna Place and both Bo and David were both extremely helpful. Once again they found the perfect vehicle at a great price and also helped get us a great rate on our new loan. I look forward to doing business with this team in the future and completely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Taking my 5 star review down to 1 star, and it would be 0 stars if the option was available. I purchased my last car at Lakeside in 2010 and it turned out to be a great vehicle. The staff went above and beyond and made sure I was happy. Well, not so much buying another car from them back in January. The car has had multiple issues since the day of purchase. They took the vehicle back three times and claimed to fix the problems but never did anything. Eventually I picked the car up because I was tired of their mechanic's incompetence and getting my car back three times with the same issue never being resolved. I purchased a "Bumper to bumper" warranty for $3000 through them and was told that they couldn't complete the repairs because the car needed to have 1000 miles on it before the warranty activated. That was a lie. The contract clearly states that the warranty is active the day of purchase. To add to the frustration of finding that information out, I just learned today upon finally getting it to my mechanic, that the warranty doesn't cover half of the issues that we need to repair the vehicle in order to be drivable. I've had this car since January and maybe driven it a few times. It was in the shop and didn't even make it home until after the first payment was made, and they never fixed a single issue. I swear they just kept the car in the garage till I would come pick it up each time. Finally I was told they couldn't find the oil leak and they basically threw their hands up with it after promising me several times that they would make it right. My mechanic had the car on his lift all of five minutes before tracing the leak to the rear main seal... So now I have a $13000 car with thousands in repairs needed and a $3000 warranty that doesn't cover most of the repairs... Thanks Lakeside! I will be sure to NEVER send anyone your way and I promise that I will go out of my way to make sure nobody makes the bad decision of buying from you thieving scam artists.

We purchased a GMC truck from Lakeside Auto in the middle of January. We had our truck stolen in November 2020. Just another blow for 2020 right? So with having the trauma of our truck being stolen on top of the poor customer experience we are having I am very disappointed with the treatment we have received. They were great with selling us the truck of course and meeting our request for the payment amount, but that is it. Our customer experience with Lakeside has been nothing but stressful and completely upsetting. We have had to constantly call to get them to follow with promising to fix a part on the truck. Come to find out they could not do it so instead they provided us money back. Nice gesture, but having to call for a month for them to follow through was not worth the amount they gave back. It felt like they were just hoping we would forget about it. Now we are trying to get our plates for the truck. They waited a week prior to the expiration date to submit to the clerk and recorder. Then they submitted them incorrectly. Now we have to get a new temp tag from them. They said stop by and we will give that to you. Stopped by and it was oh sorry we don't have that we can email that to you. ENOUGH!! Have some integrity and start doing the right thing. I am not one to write reviews but sure did want to help someone else out if they are thinking of going to Lakeside Auto and expect a good customer experience. Trust you don't need the stress or headache!
