If you need a good reliable vehicle, come see Jordan ASAP (no rocky). He put my husband and I in an amazing car, I’m forever thankful to him for his fast and professional efforts.
I would give Byrider 1,000,000,000 stars if I could! 110% recommend! Ask for Jordan!!! Tell em Jess sent ya!!! Can't say enough good things!
If I could do a negative star I would I truly thing all the good reviews here are from people that work there because if you pay attention they only reply to the good ones and make no effort to fix any of the negative ones. The customer service is awful On the day I bought the car in january i found several things wrong but it was the best I could do at that time but the sunroof was broken and that day they had to spend 4 hours just to get it to close said they would order the parts and call me when they came in to have it fixed. I never recieved a call so I called them about a month later no answer I left a voicemail. I have since called numerous times and still have yet to be contaced in late july almost august I have tried calling into the sales department and they transfer me to Geoff the manager and I still dont get answered and still no one calls me back. I text in and they say to call geoff the service manager and when i say ive done that they stop replying. truly the worst expierence ive ever had with a car company.
1) Falsified documentation during customer interview process 2) Unethically forced me into their insurance 3) Car had multiple problems including no headlight or turn signals showing Byrider did not do any inspection or checking of vehicle prior to sale. Details: 1) I called Byrider on May 6th to look into a vehicle. During the interview process i was asked how much i spend on food each month. Very easy for me to budget as all my finances are in an excel sheet. I told Byrider i spend 600-800/Mo. Their response was "Okay, We're going to put 300". They then asked about how much i spend on ciggarettes. Again, i told the truth and they said "Okay, im going to put down $30.". I was already recording, so i let this charade continue... Around 6pm we finished the interview process and they told me to head down. I took an Uber, saw a 2011 Camry they said just arrived that day, and we bagan the paperwork. 2) Upon getting disclaimers from the sales rep, he said i required Liability only to leave the lot. As he told me this with the paper in my hand i asked, "why does it say you need both collision and liability?". He looked at me surprised as if no customer ever read the documents before, then said "its just easier if we do it this way". Knowing something was off, i pulled up my proggressive app and began putting liability and collision on the vehicle. When prompted in the app for the lien holder, i asled the DReis for the lien holder. He said (and this is recorded) "just put own, not making payments". I then was forced to wath Ai disclaimers that took literally 30minutes because you are forced to let the ai women finish each paragraph despite me being deaf and capable of reading. During the disclaimers, 2000 dollars was taken from my account. Thia was PRIOR to me signing. This took my ability to uber home away and cancel the deal. In general i just wanted to get out so i could be up for work in the a.m. 3) Car had issues and Byrider puts the burden on the customer to get in writing. I sent them the following email and they have yet to respond other than telling me to call them. They refuse to put anything in writing, Hey folks, As discussed in previous emails and calls: The 2011 Toyota Camry Purchashed on May 6, 2026 has multiple issues and im looking for resolution. I require agreement and acknowledgement of each item below: 1) Front Left Light assembly inoperable. No Low beam No high beam and no turn signal 2) Oil at minimum / below lower limit. 3) Driver side switches do not operate passenger window or rear windows. 4) Dashlights are incredibly dim and hard to read speedometer. This may be a cargo light roller switch i simply havent found yet. So double check me on this one. 5) A/C needs charge or correction. inoperable. 6) Alignment needs to be looked at. Car pulls to the right. 7) Need assistance/info on getting correct liability and collosion. Not happy about requesting the lien holder name and being instructed by Byrider to choose "own, not making payments". This is proven by the recording of the entire process i have. 8) Kelly blue book for this car is way under price. This is a good opportunity for byrider to show good faith and reduce price. 9) I would like written instruction on how to pay extra on the principle of the loan bi-weekly. i will only be accepting responses and resolution plan in writing. No calls, and any calls will be recorded. I can make myself available Friday May 15th afternoon to drop the car off, if byrider can atleast commit to having the light assembly and oil level corrected by Sunday May 17th Regards, Mitch ---- i will remove this review once Byrider makes this right. Predatory, Incompetent, and Dangerous — Avoid at All Costs I bought a vehicle here 10 months ago during a difficult time. I intentionally held off on writing a review because I knew this day would eventually come. Today, I was forced to surrender the vehicle, and I want to warn anyone considering this place. The Service Nightmare: I brought the car in for service more times than I can count. Every time, I was told "nothing can be duplicated" and that the mechanic "would feel safe driving his kids in it." I ask you: Would you feel safe with your kids in a car that fails to move when you hit the gas, nearly causing collisions? Or a car that shakes constantly? Because they were incompetent at diagnosing the issue, I took the car to an actual Toyota dealership at my own expense. Toyota sent a video clearly identifying failed engine mounts. When I told the CNAC finance company this, they told me I needed to "trust their mechanic" and that Toyota was "feeding me lies." Gross Negligence: After Byrider finally "repaired" the mounts, I heard a loud clink on my way home from work. They had left a full-sized hammer sitting on top of my engine bay. When I confronted the manager, he was dismissive, acting as if it were no big deal. To make matters worse, they eventually discovered the transmission fluid and oil were dangerously low—they hadn't even performed basic maintenance or a simple detail before selling the car. The Financial Trap: I was paying nearly $500 a month for a car I barely drove (only 6,500 miles in 10 months) because it wasn't trustworthy. I ultimately owed $7,000 more than the car’s $500 appraisal value. The Surrender Process: When I called to surrender the vehicle, I was met with hostility—until I mentioned bankruptcy. Then, their tone changed instantly. They lied and said a tow driver would call me for a "key hand-off." Instead, they sneaked onto the property and took it without a word while I sat inside waiting for the call. They even tried to trick me into keeping insurance on a car I no longer possessed. Final Verdict: If you want to be preyed upon, lied to, and sold a dangerous, unreliable vehicle with a worthless warranty, this is the place for you. If you value your safety and your finances, stay far away.
