I walked into Lewis Ford of Fayetteville, Arkansas yesterday and was greeted by Danny Kohlman, who was friendly, professional, and welcoming from the start. It was clear that Lewis Ford truly understands the real struggles families face when purchasing a vehicle. The entire process was a success thanks to Danny and his team. They were incredibly kid-friendly and approachable—going above and beyond by offering complimentary hot chocolate to all four of my boys and escorting them to an arcade room, which made a huge difference. Huge shoutout to Danny Kohlman and the entire Lewis Ford team for making the experience easy, quick, and completely stress-free. They helped us find a vehicle that was logical, cost-efficient, and perfectly fit the needs of my family. The overall shopping experience was a 10. We looked at the website before going to the dealership and making an appointment. Mr. Charles Robinson reached out to us to confirm our Appointment and met us at the dealership. We test drove several vehicles before my Child choose one, she was coming to school at the University of Arkansas and we were short on time to buy her a car. We did look at other nearby dealerships, as the price was higher than we wanted to pay. We walked away from the delearship to think About the car and discuss, after picking up her dad from the airport. Mr. Robinson reached out to us the next day. See what he could do to help us purchase the car, after discussing some issues. We agreed upon a price and gave him a deposit. I was coming back in two days to pick up the car. We looked at the car on the Friday, July 31st.He told us about several offers for car buyers, and a $250 gas card was one of them. Deposit was paid on August 1st. When I signed off on the vehicle and paid in full, on August 3rd, I was not made aware the offers, were no longer available.i had to call to inquire why she wasn’t in receipt of the $250 gas card. This was extremely disappointing as my child is a college student and the gas card would’ve come in handy, while she tries to find employment. I thought this was a situation of bait and switch, as there were no offers due to the month has changed. I was not made aware that the offer was no longer available till I called to ask about why she wasn’t given the gas card. I’ve been texting back and forth to reach a resolution, and at this time I’m still waiting for a resolution from the dealership and Mr. Robinson. My daughter loves her car, but this left a bitter taste in our mouths and taught her a negative lesson on sales techniques. I would appreciate some sort of resolution on this Issue.
