I love Chevrolet of South Anchorage. I always have a good experience here. This is where I purchased my very first Alaska car when we moved here from Colorado in 2018. They were very professional, helpful, and the buying process was prompt and hassle free. The very reason I wanted to get my teen daughter’s first car from here as well, which actually happened just two weeks ago. Alex in Sales is really awesome and helpful. He was very kind and knowledgeable and listened to what my daughter wanted. He also explained things very well and assisted us with everything. He was very accommodating and made my teen feel confident with her choice of car. As like the first time, the buying process was smooth and prompt, and our requests were graciously considered. The service here is really excellent. Even the maintenance staff were great. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would.

I want to give a huge thank‑you to Dawson Sleeper, my Chevrolet Service Advisor. He has been incredibly helpful and patient throughout this entire process. My car was in the shop for almost three months, and there were days I showed up feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. Every single time, Dawson stayed calm, understanding, and reassuring. He always took the time to explain what was happening, eased my stress, and genuinely did his best to help move things forward. His professionalism and kindness made a difficult situation so much easier. I truly appreciate everything he did. Dawson, deserves a raise more than this review. The service my truck received on several visits was great. However the telephone response was poor. When I tried to make a service appointment no one ever answered the phone directly -- instead it went to voice mail and I was asked to leave a msg., which I did. No one ever called back. This went on for 3 days! Someone in the parts dept. suggested I just drive in, so eventually I did. Very frustrating and inadequate phone service.

2025 Silverado RST 24k miles. Oil change went good. Asked service dept while to look at a check engine light that came on. I had already run the code too. Was told a couple weeks till they can take a look at it and that I'd have to leave truck there since it's first come first serve. Can't make an appointment.

On Saturday, June 13th at approximately 1645 hrs., I walked into your dealership and of course wanted to shop for a vehicle. When I asked for a test drive that very day, I was told an appointment was needed?! I spoke to a sales manager and asked if I could still take a test drive without an appointment. Yet it was stated to me (along the lines of) 'we don't do appointments all the time "! Now this is wrong because I witnessed a couple with a salesman and he took them on a test drive that very day when it appeared they were only looking! Since when do you need an appointment for a test drive?! That's bad business! Especially when a serious buyer is ready to deal! It's truly (refering to the dealership) you're loss!! No apology can make up for the potential business you could've had with me!!! Maybe, I'll sell you a ketchup popcicle, with white gloves. Oh wait, I guess you'll need to make appointment with me if you really want to buy! Then maybe you'll have a better sense of how to conduct business! Just be grateful you get one star!! NO STARS AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED!!
