Shari provided a professional and seamless process. My recommendation has nothing to do with the services, or staff, of the dealership. We went in on a Saturday, after receiving a quote online. The quote online matched exactly with the onsite quote. However, the company that we had the car financed with, was closed. We were unable to complete the transaction (not through any fault of Shari or management), but because we couldn't get the payoff amount from the other company. Shari and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience positive, and succeeded. But either do your transaction during weekday business hours, or take the payoff information with you on the weekend. Also, get the time that the payoff is good for and any per diems from the company you've been dealing with. Great job Carmax, and especially Shari!
The process was transparent and the pricing was fair. The vehicle was selected online and shipped but arrived as scheduled. The process was quick and streamlined and most importantly allowed me to meet other requirements of the day and not be tied to a car dealership for hours on end. This is my second time deal with CarMax and have enjoyed both experiences.
This was our second purchase from Car Max. We went back because the first time was such an easy process. This time was the same. There is no stress and there are no shenanigans. The process is straight forward and we love our new vehicle.
My buying experience was fast, seamless and stress free. Paid with cashier's check. Other than the test drive it's no different buying a car at Carmax than buying a refrigerator or washer & dryer at Lowes.
I would love to give CarMax a 5 for the review. But! Although the customer service and business was professional and inviting, there were concerns about that I need to address. After purchasing my car, it needed work done on it twice in one week. Again, customer service was #1. But the second time they serviced my car I noticed that an employee had smoked in my car. Not only that, but also left a small burn spot on my driver's seat. I will be calling and addressing it. I'm satisfied with the friendliness of the service, but not the smoke smell and burn that's in the car!!!
