After our car being totalled, we hunted the whole state for a suitable replacement. After almost 2 months of searching we stumbled upon Alsteen Automotive. Man are we happy we found this place. Had the opportunity to drive up last night to look at 2 specific cars. Per Google the business was open until 6pm (Google was wrong). When we arrived just the gentleman that works in the repair shop was on site (Austin). He explained he is the only one there, the sales office had closed just before we arrived. He said he would make a call though. After the call we were able to test drive both cars and by the time we were done test driving the salesman, Jordan, was on site and ready to work with us. After all our questions being answered and ample information given on the one car we were more interested in, including a very detailed CarFax, we were able to complete our purchase and drive home in our new to us car. Jordan gave us his card and said to let him know if anything came up. We drove the car home to Fond du Lac and then did a short drive later that night. During the short drive the min oil light came on. I followed all I needed to to address per the manual, and followed up with Jordan this morning. Jordan and Austin spoke, had me send information, and stated they would have me bring it in. I was able to schedule for tomorrow, and I am confident they will address everything. I have no doubts this was a solid business deal and Alsteen is doing everything right. Small issue, but already being addressed. That is stand up business that you just don't find anymore. I would highly recommend this dealership to all! This is how every dealership should do business! Thank you again for everything Alsteen Automotive!
Matt was amazing with helping me get my new car...
Alsteen Auto is by far the best car dealership out there! They went above and beyond for my daughter. Jordan and John have great customer service skills and were both down to earth. They are 1000000% true to their word. Highly recommended. Thank you again for everything!!
Our experience today was lackluster, at best. For backstory, I used to own a 2017 Charger, and I loved her. We drove more than an hour to specifically drive a 2015 Charger SXT with 149,299 miles (average milage for this year is 95k). The Charger had an inoperable backup camera ($600-$1200 fix), multiple corrosion spots over the hood, body and wheels. (Soon and long term fixes needed) This vehicle also had lifted interior plastics, a broken (fallen off) fan assembly that we fixed on our test drive, and it has been smoked in, depsite being told otherwise. Hazed tint, and smell were evident. Upon return we asked for negotiation due to the condition of the vehicle and the higher than average miles for its model year. We gave all specifics. The salesman, instead of working with us, stated that they wouldnt do anything than knocking a few hundred off the asking price. We were also treated rudely after we expressed what we noticed. Im sorry, but since when do salesmen not actually work for their sales? If you need a moderately priced vehicle, go here, but dont trust that theyll do much to help you should you need it. Edit to add, cause I cannot reply to their response, evidently: Let’s be clear: this isn’t about the car’s age, mileage, or price, it’s about the complete lack of class and professionalism shown during our visit. My husband and I have 15 years of combined experience inside automotive shops and dealerships. We know what respectful, competent sales behavior looks like, and this was nowhere near it. Dismissiveness, rudeness, and brushing off legitimate concerns are not “low pressure”, they’re disrespectful. That’s why I wrote my review, and no spin or deflection changes that.
Cane here last July to buy me a car for my bday. The salesman who helped us was super nice and wonderful. No hate towards him. Sadly the car that we purchased went to crap after 4 months. The transmission is f’d and it’s going to cost more than what the car is auto fix it. The warranty they offer is only two weeks or certain mileage so clearly contacting the dealer for help would have done nothing. Buyers beware of what you purchase.
