Purchased my first minivan there, back in '18, still have the car it's got 226k miles now. Went back this year for another vehicle and once again they were able to help with the financing, got a great car now again. Highly recommend this place

Don’t get your car here, once they sold you the car they don’t care if there is something wrong or not.I bought my Cadillac Escalade here and tried to contact them with the lifters as they told me they were going to fix it but they never called me back or answer my call or schedule anything. I paid for $30k plus car that became undrivable 2 years after purchasing. They don’t even help you get your Gap insurance or anything.

Terrible dealership. They are scammers. We got a Jeep from them and ended up losing about $20,000 because of it. We traded in our Toyota and got a Jeep from them. From the very first day, we had problems with it. We literally drove it from the dealership to our home, about 5 minutes away, and the issues started immediately. The Jeep was constantly breaking down. We spent around $7,000 on mechanics and repairs, and after getting tired of pouring money into it, we had to sell it at a huge loss. We lost another $13,000 just to get rid of it. So not only did we lose our Toyota, but we also lost a lot of money because of this vehicle. And if you think they are friendly — ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Don’t expect good customer service from them. They didn’t even let us properly inspect the vehicle. They kept saying that we had already talked on the phone, that we were getting close to closing the deal, and that we were late. It felt like they were rushing us instead of letting us make sure the vehicle was actually in good condition. If you want to buy a car and not lose your money, go to a different dealership. There are plenty of dealers that are actually friendly, honest, and willing to help customers find a good vehicle. This place only seemed interested in taking our money and getting rid of their junk. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Customers beware, please don’t buy from this dealer. This dealer is shady and will cover up issues to sell any vehicle. We bought a truck and not even 30 days later it was diagnosed to have a cracked piston block and cracked heads. A26k shop bill, for a 25k truck. Please avoid this dealer and their shady business practices. My delay in review was due to my home being flooded, rebuilding that and on top of it a truck in the shop for 3 months. Please don’t try to excuse your dealers behavior. This truck was sold as is, yes. But that’s my point, you guys are shady and extremely irresponsible in the quality of vehicles you’re selling. No excuse there.

Customer be warned! Never buy a car from Sunset Cars of Auburn. I bought a car from them, and while they were very friendly during the sales process, everything changed when I reached out to them when the car developed issues. They referred me to the warranty company, Alpha - provided by Sunset at the time of purchase, who refused to cover for repairs, leaving me with a broken car, auto shop diagnosis fees to pay and car rental fees while waiting for the diagnosis that took for more two weeks. I am very disappointed as I think customer service should not end once the paperwork is signed. Both Sunset Cars of Auburn and Alpha Warranty company work together and I would never trust or recommend them to anyone.
