I can’t thank Smart Auto enough! My car gave out on me and I was stressed, but Chris made the whole process so easy. I ended up driving home the same day in a GMC Terrain that I absolutely love. They even included a 2-year warranty on the engine and transmission, covered my tag and title fees, and got me in with a smaller down payment than I was expecting. I’ll even save on oil changes by bringing it back to the dealer and getting it done for $20!!! I’m beyond grateful for how quick, professional, and genuine they were. This was such a relief and a blessing, and I’ll definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a car!

Service department always takes great care of my car quickly and nicely. Robby, Chelsey, and Ron are so helpful in explaining everything they have done. I always feel good about my car when I leave.

My wife and I went to smart auto after our credit had been decimated by emergency healthcare bills. We were able to get the car we needed to get us to work and … it had the leather package my wife wanted! Their service department is top notch and we just couldn’t be happier

It was really hard for me to get a car. I was so thankful for smart auto to help. Why 2 stars? Well maybe it’s the fact that a few miles down the road the engine light turned and that was at least 4 months ago. I have called out of work 2 times to take my car to get fixed. Did they replace things? They said they did. Is the engine light still on? Yes. Now it’s 20 degrees in my car and the heater just stopped working. I’m so frustrated. I pay $600 a month to get in my car and be freezing and they can’t even fix it because their waitlist to get seen is like almost 2 months away.

DON'T BUY A LEMON VEHICLE AT SMART AUTO NO MATTER HOW TEMPTED!! READ 'ALL' THE REVIEWS! Smart Auto of Knoxville, TN ripped us off by selling us, along with a family member, lemon cars. They tell each purchaser to leave a perfect review when while in the office and tell us they'll give us a "FREE" two-year warranty. But, then they don't fix the dangerous, broken down, POS lemon vehicles they sell. They refused to repair them. My vehicle could not drive above 45 miles per hour without the steering wheel shaking so violently that it was hard to control. I asked them to fix it and they chased me and my husband off the property, even though they tell people they offer a two-year warranty on all their vehicles. They auctioned it off after I voluntarily left it/forfeited it to them because it was too dangerous to drive. After they auctioned it, or resold it, they still charged me the full amount owed instead of whatever the balance was, if any at all, after they auctioned or sold it. And, my family member's vehicle caught fire.
