We had a small issue with the vehicle after purchasing it and when I called Carlos about it the same day, he advised his manager and they got us squared right away!! We appreciated it SO MUCH! I recently purchased a new-to-me 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Widebody 392 from TruAuto in Ladson, and I could not be happier with the experience. My wife and I had been saving up for quite a while, and we actually spotted the car by chance while driving around town on a weekend. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to come back to check it out. That following Monday, after completing all my pre-authorization and financing information through TruAuto’s website, I pulled into the lot and saw Jose already outside trying to call me. Their building doesn’t get great reception, so it honestly made me laugh seeing him standing there with the phone in his hand. From the moment I introduced myself, Jose was friendly, professional, and genuinely excited to show me the Scat Pack. You can tell he really knows his cars and loves what he does. Despite being a younger guy, he handled everything with the professionalism of someone twice his age. The buying process was smooth and extremely quick since most of my financing was already handled online. The price was fair, the car only had around 10,000 miles on it, and Jose made the entire process feel easy. The longest part of the whole purchase was simply me moving money around for the down payment. Once that was done, I was driving home in my Scat Pack just a couple of days later. After getting the car home and letting the excitement settle, I noticed a bubble in the front driver-side tire. I called Jose to let him know and made it clear that although I understood the car was sold as-is, I wasn’t thrilled about the issue. Jose immediately stepped up. He spoke with his manager, worked some magic behind the scenes, and TruAuto agreed to replace the damaged tire at no cost to me. I was even able to take it to the shop of my choice. While it was there, I went ahead and purchased the second tire myself to match tread depth, and the shop let me know the alignment was off as well. After bringing the receipts back to Jose, TruAuto even covered a portion of the alignment cost to make it right. You don’t get that kind of service just anywhere. Overall, my experience with Jose and TruAuto Ladson was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and honest, and Jose in particular went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. As a U.S. military veteran, I truly appreciate businesses that operate with integrity and genuinely care about their customers. I would absolutely recommend Jose and TruAuto to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle, and I will gladly return to them when it’s time for my next car.
