Cory reached out with a lowball offer on my truck I was selling, which I respectfully declined. Despite that, I answered all of his follow-up questions honestly, including details about the transmission, mileage, receipts, and warranty status. The conversation remained polite throughout, and he even acknowledged that the truck looked well cared for. He asked me what my "bottom dollar" asking price was, and after I told him, he persisted that his offer was fair and he should know because he owns a dealership. I sold the truck within a day or two of our contact at the "bottom dollar," which he said was overpriced. I honestly didn't think much of it until he surprised me about a week later by dropping a 1-star review, because I wouldn't accept the offer he was pushing.
