Carvana Philadelphia

First time using Carvana. Will not be my last. Everything is so easy. Search for your car. Offer to sell you existing car and get money towards your new car. Simple, easy, always a person to talk to or chat with that can answer every question. Needed a duplicate title. No problem, the Carvana person researched it, checked hours, gave me a list of documents to take, and then asked "do you need directions and are you able to get there?" Wow White glove treatment. Trade in was super easy. On my purchas-Oh, we missed disclosing there is a roof chip the size of a pencil tip showing rust, sorry, we contacted local body shop and they will fix and repaint no charge to me. I lost count how many times a regular car dealership would have frustrated me and I would have walked out. Bravo!! Carvana. You made car buying simple and enjoyable--focus on the car, not worry about who is trying to sell some some snake oil add on. I like their attitude-car scratches bring character to the car, thats why we share the photos. Thanks and job well done!

Communication and price offreed was excellent. Transaction from initial contact to Carvana accepting the car - perfect. Carvana in person staff - excellent. I paid for Carvana to pick up my car at home and pay me when picking up - well handled. Carvav was supposed to take the car at that time. Unfortnatley, they left the car bloking my use of my driveway and garage - no communication. Couple of calls the following morning and a tow showed up unannounced a few hours later. Didn't have the keys for the car which were provided to Carvav rep prior day. He had to drag the car onto a flat bed. He was very pleasant but I missed my appointment due to not being able to get out of the driveway. Would have been 5 stars if not for fumble on the pickup.

Picking the car out on the website and the delivery process was all that I could ask. The driver was really nice. However the condition of the car was horrible. For a car that I just financed from a dealership (whether I'm on the lot or not) would be for it to be clean. This was not the case with 2023 Jeep Renegade that I purchased. There were coffee stains all over the radio, the front dash on the passenger side, where someone would put their feet was falling off, and on top of that the car reeks of cigarette smoke. I missed taking pictures of the coffee stains. I cleaned them myself. I wanted to be sure that they were not permanent. I wouldn't have been upset about the hanging piece of the dash on the passenger side of the car if it was shown in the pictures when I was shopping the car. I feel as though it was left out, because it could have been tucked back up out of the way long enough for the pictures to be taken. The only attempt that I seen of a detail was the wax that they must of used on the exterior of the car. But they didn't even do that right. It was caked up all over the black trim of the car. Like I said, everything with purchasing the car was perfect other than what could be labeled as a half ass detail.

Started off so strong. Plenty of options online, fast and easy, great financing options, INCREDIBLY friendly staff on site. The issue came about 5 minutes after driving off the lot, when I noticed a quarter-sized chip in the windshield- an imperfection NOT disclosed on the vehicle listing or at all to me as the buyer prior to driving off the lot. No worries, since Carvana offers a warranty, right? Wrong! Almost immediately after submitting the claim, I was told this was a purely cosmetic issue (how a chip that compromises overall integrity of my windshield is “purely cosmetic”, I’m not sure). I requested to escalate this issue further as I felt strongly this should be covered by Carvana, I did not agree to the purchase of a vehicle with this damage. They repeatedly told me I could have the damage repaired myself (estimates I’ve received were between $125-175) or that I may exchange the vehicle completely if I was unsatisfied. How they find the complete exchange of a vehicle to be less of a problem than a $150 repair of damage THEY caused, I’m not sure. Giving 2 stars purely because the staff inside was awesome, and made the experience super fun and exciting until this happened (and so it’s harder to have removed

If I could give minus 100 stars I would. My 19 yr old purchased a 2018 Camaro SS2. He worked hard to save. He seen one at great price on Carvana website and paid an additional 1800$ to have it delivered from Montana to Philly. When it came, himself and his friends all jumped in cars and went to get it as well with a check for about 32,000$. I don’t know who runs this but trust me I will find out. My son was aware of a few little scratches and they no longer make these cars. He FaceTimed me right away! This car looked like it literally fell off the back of a truck!!! The employees at Carvana were pushing him to take it for 7 days then return it just to get that check !!! Wait till you see these pictures! BAIT AND SWITCH is against the law! You want to put a 19 yr old behind the wheel of that?? You are insane! Didn’t safety check it or anything !!! I was online with a “supervisor” telling him about car and everytime I said anything remotely that made sense he would say “I can no longer can give you anymore info.” I told him several times I’m on title too. He then says oh we don’t get title or registration until after the 7 days. Oh really??? Then why to you make us provide you with insurance last week? This place is such a fraud and nasty business.. NO WONDER WHY ALL THOSE OTHER STATES BANNED YOUR BUSINESS! First three photos are what we ordered..the others are what they wanted to give my kid! I’m not letting this go lightly! You will kill someone with your practices!
