I purchased a car from Powell Motors all the way for Florida. It can be risky purchasing a car without actually seeing it in person however, Powell Motors provided excellent service and a very smooth transaction. What they advertise is exactly what you get. You can tell they sell only the best and well taken care of cars. I purchased a 2009 Suzuki SX4 (Manual) which are hard to find these days. The car was in immaculate condition along with perfect service records as shown with Car Fax Report. They prepped the car so it looked new and was in perfect mechanical condition. it was such a pleasure working with Israel and Vince. They were both extremely friendly, professional, caring, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Car Dealers that take care of their customers like Powell Motors are hard to find these days. I had the most excellent experience working with Vince and Powell Motors! I interacted with 4 different employees over the couple of days we needed to make my situation work, and every single one was patient, kind, and just absolutely lovely. I had purchased a car from CarMax that had just ended up being a nightmare due to undisclosed issues I was unable to get serviced, (techs were either telling me they didn't know what the issue was, or charging hundreds just to look at it due to the model) and Vince went so far above and beyond to get me a more than fair trade in and into my perfect used car. The car he sold me is in excellent condition and he was VERY thorough about going over repairs and Carfax. Being a genderqueer person can be tough when in situations where I have to use my legal name, and Vince was so considerate and thoughtful throughout the process. I cannot recommend checking out Powell Motors if you are in the market for a vehicle. They'll get you into something good quality, fairly priced and with no gimmicks or pressure. I cannot recommend them enough!!

What an incredible experience! A true family owned business! I spent a long time google searching and finally came across a vehicle at Powell Motors which had everything I was looking for. Israel helped me and was completely open and upfront with the details of the car, including the Carfax. Right away I felt at ease and comfortable that he wasn't trying to take advantage like a "typical car salesman." I brought my 2 month old son with me and the owner - Vince, and his wife made a really cute sign for us and the car after purchasing. Vince even gave me a 50th anniversary Hot Wheels toy car for my son, Noah! How adorably sweet and thoughtful! The car had been to the shop prior to purchasing and had a handful of updates (which even included new cushioning on one of the seats). They really took care of the car and made sure everything was nice for a new owner. Upon driving home, the a/c had stopped working, the engine light came on and it was stalling when trying to push 60mph. The purchase was "as is" and the manufacturer warranty had long been expired. I opted out of the protection plan at the time of purchase because I just couldn't afford it so my heart sank when I realized it was going to need more fixings. We called Vince when we returned home and told him what happened. He felt so bad, he drove all the way out to our apartment in Vancouver and brought us a loaner car to use while he took my newly purchased vehicle back to Oregon with him and straight into the shop. They spent a few days trying to figure out and fix the issues it was having. After a few days and $1700 worth of parts and labor, our car was finally fixed. He didn't charge me for the fix it costs or the loaner car. We agreed that a small fee of $100 was fair for the work that had been done. He drove my car all the way back out to my apartment and brought me a gift card for Burgerville for the inconvenience and because he felt bad. I mean...what a stand up guy! Have you ever heard of such an experience!? I would recommend this place HANDS DOWN to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicles. I am so thankful for such an awesome experience and a lovely car.

While I was unable to secure financing with my bank for the vehicle I looked at and test drove, I wanted to say how amazing the experience was working with Vince. The level of detail and care that went into the experience was top notch. All the documentation for every repair was included in the folder for the vehicle, and he made sure to go over everything in great detail. I could tell when driving the vehicle that it had been well maintained and fully inspected. Unfortunately I was not able to secure financing for the vehicle from my bank, but I do think whoever purchases it will be very happy with it.
