I always read the reviews before going somewhere. You will always find good and bad. Some of these reviews had me nervous but I needed to help my dad get a car. So far everything is great. Went in on a Saturday to look around and ended up finding a car. They let you look around without bothering you. They said hey and waived, if I needed anything they were just inside the office. Zach was very helpful and not at all pushy. He let me take my time to drive every car I wanted how ever many times I wanted. Told him I would be back on Monday around noon to get the car and he was fine with that. He even put a hold note on it so it wouldn’t be sold. Showed up Monday and he had it sitting out front waiting. It was cleaned and tagged with my paperwork sitting on the table so I could get in and out fast and still get to eat during my lunch break. He even set my payment date to the date I needed it to start. Best experience ever buying a car. He even told me about their payment deferment after you register it to help with the cost of it. Not many car lots offer that. Zach made this the easiest and best car buying experience i ever had. He knows a lot about the lot and the cars. He will provide you with any information you ask for. To give some people more information on the bad reviews. The cars come with a 30 day warranty. After that they will still help you with major repairs and put the cost on the loan and give you a loaner car. A lot of buy here pay here don’t offer much warranty and will not help you at all after the warranty. If they offer more warranty it’s added to your loan. You can also call and get extended warranty from a 3rd party company if you wanted. I have had my car around a week and drove it on a small 2 day trip around 400 miles with no issues at all. Car did great. Only down side is I had to replace the two front tires. I replace my tires when they are half worn for my safety. Kill switch is used by most buy here pay here lots. If payments are made on time it won’t even matter it’s there. Pay it and they turn it back on. They also explain this during the signing process. Gap/insurance. You have to get liability insurance on your own. The insurance they offer is a separate policy that covers the car to get repaired by at fault accidents or damages such as Mother Nature. Works the same as full coverage insurance for less money and a low deductible of $250. The gap will cover the pay off if the car is totaled. Your own liability is required by law and covers the person you hit in an accident. $100 a month to Scott’s plus $30 to your insurance is not bad. My insurance quoted me $250 a month for full coverage with $500 deductible. Using Scott’s saved me $100 a month with a lower deductible. The price of the down and monthly is listed on the car as well as the miles. When buying at a buy here pay here or any used car lot you are going to pay more than it’s worth, regardless where you buy from. That’s how it works. The car I got has less miles than my other car and will be paid off way sooner for a similar monthly payment. At Scott’s you pay $500 down and $600-$700 a month ($300-$350 biweekly) before insurance and with no interest for 2-2.5 years- ($17,500 for mine) which is not that much more than it’s worth. VS others (my other car- dads car) pay $2,000 down $540 a month for 4 to 5 years with interest (over $32,000). Don’t let the bad reviews scare you off. They will help you get into a car. They are not pushy and let you take your time. You can have issues with any car you buy from anywhere. They got me into a nice car. Yes I haven’t had my car long but they did me right and I do hope I don’t have any issues out of my car but again it’s a used car and I am sure they will help me fix it if it does have issues. I hope my review helps and people realize they are trying to help you get a car.

I had heard a lot about this place and it's around the corner from my home. So I went and looked at a 2019 Kia Rio, one of the low end kias , with 119k miles.. everything was great till I started pushing the pencil.. 550 a month with 500 down. 27 months equals 16,200 payback for a $9000 car tops.. that is two times what the car is worth.. now i don't mind the dealership, making a 1000 to $1500 But this is literally highway robbery and taking advantage of people who are desperately seeking a vehicle , and that's where they get you. No wonder they demanded gap insurance as they advertise interest, free.. sorry Scott , i'm gonna have to pass on this deal..

Had a great experience at Scott’s today! I wasn’t bombarded when I got there and had the opportunity to explore the inventory. Zack was very helpful when I was ready and I got to test drive every car I was interested in. They had a decent inventory and I got what I was looking for! Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs a car! The financing company is trash!! I got pulled over for something that had to do with my husband. Mind you, he was not in the car and I was on my way to work. The car got towed and when I went to get it I was told that it was already picked up and the financing company wouldn’t let me get it back. I tried to call and left messages trying to see why bc honestly what had happened had nothing to do with the car, I was making on time payments and hadn’t even had it long enough to tag it. All of a sudden it’s on my credit! No letters, no return calls no explanation at all just that the financing company wouldn’t allow me to get it back and now it’s on my credit!
