So this is my second purchase from Tim Presley. When I tell you that he has went above and beyond to get me into the vehicle I had inquired about I really mean that seriously! This was a wonderful experience. To anyone in need of a car, but is on edge about dealing with “car salesman”, look no further than Huber. There were zero games being played. They’re real people who honestly want to do what they can to help you get what you need at the best possible price. Buying a new car can be incredibly scary because of the current state of the economy, but Huber makes it possible. I’m a very happy customer.

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle out of state, and despite doing everything I could to be cautious, I still ended up with a car that has spent more time in the shop than in my driveway. To be fair, Tim Presley was excellent throughout the sales process. He was responsive, friendly, answered countless questions, sent videos, followed up regularly, and generally went above and beyond to earn my business. I genuinely enjoyed working with him and appreciated the effort he put into helping me. My issue is not with the customer service. My issue is with the lack of accountability when the product failed to live up to the repeated assurances that were made. Before purchasing the vehicle, I specifically asked numerous questions about the condition of the hybrid battery. I raised concerns about battery degradation, battery range, battery diagnostics, and long-term reliability. Those concerns were repeatedly addressed with assurances from both Tim Presley and Tim Huber that the vehicle was in excellent condition, that the battery was in good condition, and that the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected and serviced. Based on those assurances, I moved forward with the purchase. Within a short period of ownership, the vehicle developed multiple issues. Check engine lights appeared, electrical problems surfaced, and eventually a dealer diagnosed a failed battery block within the high-voltage battery system. The repair has been approved, but the required battery components are now on indefinite backorder with no reliable timeline for completion. The most frustrating part is that I am now making a $450 monthly payment on a vehicle that I currently cannot drive while waiting for parts that may arrive in a few weeks or potentially much longer. I understand that used cars can have problems. This is a 10-year-old vehicle with nearly 100,000 miles. I never expected perfection. What I did expect was that the condition of the vehicle would reasonably match the confidence with which it was represented. What disappoints me most is that when the battery issue was ultimately confirmed, the response became that no one could have predicted it. Yet battery condition was one of my primary concerns before purchasing, and I specifically asked about it multiple times. Had I been told there were unknowns surrounding the battery's health, I could have made a more informed decision. I do not believe Tim Presley intentionally misled me. I believe he genuinely believed what he was saying and worked hard to help me. However, good customer service cannot make up for the fact that I ended up with a vehicle that became a major source of stress, downtime, and expense almost immediately after purchase. I sincerely hope my experience is the exception and not the rule. However, based on what I went through, I would strongly encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle from here do so with more care than I did.
