Liberty Ford Canton

Our first experience with Liberty Ford in Canton was absolutely great! The sales team was courteous, attentive, hospitable, polite, and friendly in every way. I’ve read where some people have written negative reviews about the sales department but in my personal experience nothing could be further from the truth! Fair price, great vehicle, offered options without pressure and let us make up our own minds as to our final decisions! Shout outs to our sales guy Bryan Lewis and his finance manager TJ Huth. Super people, great team guys all the way around!

My wife and I just bought a 2025 maverick. Mr. Dave Ewing was very kind and relaxing to deal with during the whole car buying process. Not pushy and very informative along the entire process. If I need a vehicle in the future this place will be up on the top of my list.

I like that they have the option to pick up my truck and return it for free. I have had Liberty Ford Sevice my truck a few times now. The most recent was a transmission flush and filter change. I thought this would be a one day service but it ran into two. Any time I have my truck there it’s there for at least 2 days and I have to find a ride or use a work van to get home. If I knew ahead of time about not having my truck for multiple days it would be easier. I spoke with Tom about having my transmission's serviced and they picked my truck up at around 8:30 for the appointment. Mel call me at 12:38 asking me why my truck was there. I explained it was there for the transmission service and he said ok. I’m not sure why there was no record of that. I called later in the day and they said the truck should be ready by 5. I had to remind him they said they would bring my truck back to my office. Then he asked where the office was, the same place it was when you picked it up in the morning. Just seems like they need to communicate better. I did get a call from Mel telling me my brake pads were at 2mm and they could do the front brake job for $750. I said no I’ll do it myself. When doing the brake job I measured the pads and the worst one was at 4mm. Pretty disappointed they would either lie or not know how to read a tape measure. They do really good work and the trans shifts like glass. I would recommend them with the caveat that you may not get your vehicle back the same day and double check what they recommend before just blindly saying ok.

Purchased my vehicle here brand new, brought it in one time after my caliper had locked up for the third time in 2 years and they admitted there was an issue, told me they weren’t sure what it was or how to solve it and tried to charge me $50, I’m not even convinced they looked at it (the coating on my parking brake wore off so the caliper was seized in a way that didn’t release when I pushed it down) which I didn’t make a big deal of at the time. Now there’s a customer satisfaction program for the reverse camera and I’ve called multiple times to try and schedule to have it serviced and was met with terrible customer service and told I’d be contacted which never happened. Highly recommend purchasing and/or servicing your vehicle anywhere else

Horrible experience. Ford kept my truck for weeks and would not warranty a faulty, Ford part that was under warranty. Would not accept any kind of receipt I provided and forced me to spend thousands of more dollars to purchase that part again and rent a vehicle during this time as well. Oh yeah, they had my vehicle for weeks beforehand when I first brought it to them with the same problem and they told me it was fixed. It wasn’t, had to fork over thousands more and get back a vehicle in the same condition. They even returned my vehicle to me with a check engine light on, telling me it was fixed. Of course they charged me more money. All that time I’ll never get back. What a shame. Thanks for nothing.
