Copart - Trenton

This was my first time visiting the Copart yard in this location. Before heading over, I took some time to read through the Google reviews, and honestly, I was a bit concerned. Many of the comments painted a negative picture, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I went in assuming the experience might be frustrating or disorganized. However, to my surprise, the visit turned out to be much better than anticipated. From the moment I walked into the main office, the staff were respectful, courteous, and professional. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and seemed genuinely interested in assisting customers efficiently. I was there specifically to preview a vehicle I was considering for purchase, and I can confidently say the experience was on par with—if not better than—many other Copart yards I’ve visited in the past. The vehicle I came to inspect was exactly where it was supposed to be, and the staff provided clear instructions and support to help me locate it quickly and safely. Overall, while every location can have its good and bad days, my personal experience at this yard was smooth and positive. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for future auctions or previews. Sometimes it’s best to see for yourself rather than relying entirely on online reviews.

Absolutely terrible experience. This was some of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. The staff was unhelpful, communication was poor, and the entire process took far longer than it should have. I was given little information about what was happening with my vehicle, and every question I asked seemed like an inconvenience. The lack of professionalism and organization made an already stressful situation even worse. If you expect timely service, clear communication, or basic customer care, you may end up disappointed. I would not recommend this location based on my experience and will avoid using it again if I have any other option.

5 YEAR AGO....I purchased a vehicle through this location as a dealer. After about a year...they finally mailed my title to this vehicle. I was rebuilding this rare car and it took time, so, I didn't really NEED the title immediately....BIG mistake! They lost the original title and made a duplicate. Then, mailed me a 3rd duplicate title which became void as a new title was already made and then LOST again!! This location is a SOLID JOKE with handling titles. I still don't have a marketable title and they simply refuse to help produce another one after several mistakes on their end. NOW.....they want to charge me more money to fix the error they made. Hard to call and talk to anyone and they seem clueless. Have to explain the scenario over and over to different reps every single time I call. Avoid this location at all costs!!!

Imagine having your car towed to Copart, and you drive there to clean it out, and all your stuff has already been cleaned out and misplaced’. Unacceptable, and the lack of empathy by the person in charge, ridiculous. At least get up check your storage area or ask the people that clean out the cars.

Ridiculous customer service! They went from 0 stars to -5 !!! My car got towed and now they need to delivery it back and they keep changing the date and dont call me to let me know?! I informed them previously i live in a bad neighborhood so they cannot just drop it off without a person here to take the keys! And they complete ignore ! And when i try to call to ask about it i get no help at all ! EDIT: They delivered my car WITHOUT the license plates, and without my insurance card and registration and with the keys hanging on the steering wheel!
